Ideal location for visits to the Loire castles. Clean and well equipped rooms but poorly soundproofed. Venus in formula gîte so breakfast cannot be noted. On the other hand, we had a very good dinner in the evening with a very reasonable price. Only bemool, the dishes were chained too quickly. We were disappointed when we arrived because access to the pool was forbidden (in May and with the sun, it was very damaging). We had not been warned and the price of the room remained the same. On the day of departure, we had to leave quickly.

Nice place to stay

Great stay up in Chaumont, great reception, Diane de Poitiers' room is spacious, the house is 300 minutes from the castle next to the Festival des Jardins, the swimming pool is perfect, the lunch is impeccable, we'll be back next year, thank you.

Just perfect.

Lovely 8 sleeper situated above the town of Chaumont sur Loir. It has a swimming pool and barbecue on the premises, and a lovely intimate garden to sit in. The hostess is attentive and speaks English well.

The beds are super comfy (I like my mattress to be firm, and the double bed upstairs ticks this box). Towels, bedding a d a well-stocked makes the stay very comfortable.  There is also WiFi and a parking inside the premises. The property is aalking distance from the town as well as the local chateaux.

First holiday in France

We stayed two nights in this beautiful guest room. The reception was particularly friendly with all the good advice to visit this beautiful area. The room was perfect, spotless bed and very well equipped room. No noise problems Related to the nearby street, night and morning were particularly quiet. Very complete breakfast, excellent coffee, fine wines... and especially the fresh fruit salad. The weather allowed us to enjoy the two days of the swimming pool after a beautiful day of visiting. The restaurants are nearby quality and not too expensive. Nearby 300 m, I advise you to do the Cha Chaum Gardens festival. We went to the beautifully closed courtyard fairly early.

We reconciled our visits to Chaumont and Blois by placing our luggage (and your velos) in this very beautiful guesthouse.

A Refuge of Peace

Nice stay in this beautiful house. Very pleasant welcome and contact. The owner even booked us a table in a restaurant the night we arrived. Very good and cozy breakfast. The weather did not allow us to enjoy the pool but the setting is very nice. We stayed in the pink room. Spacious, clean, bathroom with shower. A little bemool for the bedding, we sink. This room overlooks the garden and a driveway.

A good address

We stayed at this beautiful property for a few days mid November 2019. We love the castle and were so happy to be in walking distance of Chaumont. We had two rooms, Capucine and Anemone. Two inviting rooms, clean, pretty, with nice bathrooms and the pillows and mattresses are beyond perfect, makes you want to stay in bed. There is total quiet, no noise whatsoever. Claudine Dallet, the hostess, was so very helpful and friendly, always willing to help with everything. We also loved having use of the fridge, microwave etc...in the main room when we did not want to go out for dinner. 
We loved our stay so much that we will definitely go back there next time we are in the Loire Valley

Perfect

We stayed here for 3 nights this fall and it provided a great location for us to visit the local chateau, the towns in the area and caves to the south where they are raising mushrooms. The tour, given in French only, was worth the cost because the guide would fill us in on important items as we went along. It is an easy walk to the Chateau Chaumont where we spent an afternoon. Claudine was able to direct us to 2 restaurants in the village that were quite good. Claudine kindly accommodated my dietary needs so I could avoid some of the carbs at dejeuner. The common areas were great to sit and review the day and plan the next.

Centrally located lodging in a quiet environment

Hotel very available to give the best plans for the area, after a last minute booking. Located close to the main sites, a maximum of 40 minutes (we did Chambord, Cheverny, Chenonceau, Clos Lucé), the gardens of Chaumont are 300 metres away. Bread and fresh creams every morning. We stayed in the hostel equipped with a small kitchenette and a very cozy living room. Very clean we were able to stay with our 2 month old baby bed with an umbrella provided. We recommend this hostel and we will definitely return to explore the other sites in this very rich area. Thank you!

What a wonderful discovery.

It's a nice house, we've booked the two-bedroom cottage. Everything is well-arranged from the living room and very clean. Access to the garden and pool makes you feel at home.
