superbly renovated 2 rooms (ground floor and upstairs) in a stone cottage short distance from main house. Very comfortable room with tea and coffee supplied. Nice local wine in fridge (9 euros). Upstairs room would not suit disabled. Ample fee parking. Short drive to Chinon for restaurants. 
Very nice continental breakfast served in room.
Advise to book early as sell out quickly

A most charming French b&b just outside Chinon - an ideal stopover for driving down to Bordeaux.
The hosts, Veronique and Ronan, offered a very warm welcome to their beautifully restored farm cottage. It was warm enough to have a quick refreshing dip in their pool, before driving into Chinon to enjoy a great dinner in a bistro recommended by them. Breakfast next day was absolutely delicious, and we ate it in their old walled garden.
We will definitely stay there again and we’re sorry we hadn’t the time to stay longer,

Fabulous stopover at Chinon, in the heart of France 

Very pleasant stay here. Beautiful charming room with a story (a bit like a fairy tale). Very friendly and hospitable managers/owners. Everything is provided, plenty of towels if required. Feel free to ask for restaurant tips in the area. The breakfast was brought to the room because of Covid-19 and is very extensive and very tasty, the two of us could not eat everything on our platteau. We didn't use the swimming pool unfortunately due to our short stay and planned trips, but it looked attractive. Quietly located a stone's throw from Chinon. Highly recommended for a visit to the Loire region. Tall people have to mind their head in the room because of the low ceiling, but that also has its charm. I myself am not that big, so that was not a problem for me. When you eat your breakfast outside you can have some trouble of wasps, but that is the case everywhere. We therefore had breakfast inside the room.

Very pleasant b&b with charming managers

I wish i could apply over 10/10 as this b&b was the best I have evry stayed (and that is a lot!) the photos cannot do this place justice as not only is the whole property stunning, clean, beautifully decorated and thought out but the hosts, Rowna and Vero could not have been better. 
The surrounding area is beautiful, its aa few km outside pretty Chinon. The propery itself is so beautiful, including the gorgeous pool area, picnic tables and sun loungers. 
Vero has a very artistic talent and the rooms really are a masterpeace, not only huge, clean and comfortable but her eye for detail is second to none and beautiful. 
Pool towels were provided, lovely lighting in the garden for ambience in the evenings. So quiet and peaceful.
The breakfasts were the best we had in the whole trip around France. Homemade, fresh and huge and like everything else, beautifully presented.
We left feeling very sad that the stay had come to an end and we felt like we had made new friends with our wonderful hosts, thank you both very much.

The perfect b&b with the most beautiful room, pool and hosts!

Idyllic setting in a medieval domaine surrounded by vineyards but conveniently and unbelievably just 5 minutes by car from the historic city of Chinon. Characterful period guest rooms sympathetically renovated with modern facilities. Accommodation is in the two rooms of a 15th century house in the walled courtyard below the main property and a swimming pool. Genuinely warm welcome from the owners who clearly love their home and having guests in it.

Rural perfection just outside Chinon.

We enjoyed a lovely couple of days at Domaine de Givry en route south. Vero and Ronan speak excellent English and could not have been more helpful with advice about what to visit and when, where to eat, which wineries to visit, etc. A fellow guest's birthday fell while we were there and Vero supplemented the already extraordinary breakfast with a bottle of bubbly. A genuine and lovely gesture. Our room was very comfortable, and the quiet location a few kms outside Chinon suited us and our need to park a vehicle. We highly recommend this charming chambre d'hote.

Wonderful Hosts

Perfect place to relax and enjoy a great Holiday. It's located at a very quiet location and the chambre d'hotes gives you a lot of privacy. The owners are very friendly people and are always there for you if you need anything, the pool is a nice place when the wheater is hot. Breakfast is very good. The area gives you good walking routes and the city of Chinon is a 5 minute drive with some nice restaurants. It's also a very place to stay with children.

A lovely holiday in France

Vero and Ronan were the best hosts we could hope for. They welcomed us when we arrived, provided spectacular breakfasts each day, and the accommodation was extraordinary. Domaine de Givré has a rustic French farmhouse charm, and with all the comforts of home. It’s close enough to Chinon to go out for dinner, with plenty of chateaux nearby. Love this place! 10/10!

Just Perfect!

We had a large and comfortable bedroom with modern shower in the bathroom, all in very good condition.
The owners speak good English and were very helpful. We enjoyed a very good breakfast.
Convenient for visiting many of the well known sites in the Loire valley, while being in a quiet rural location.
