Small hotel perfectly situated on the waterfront overlooking the beautiful bay in Collioure.  Choose a room with a balcony to maximise the view.  Buffet breakfast in the dining area good, staff friendly & helpful.  Bathroom a little small but sufficient.  

Perfect location

A beach side Hotel in glorious Collioure. A simple styled hotel with a lot of charm. The Owners and the Staff are welcoming and inviting and always obliging to help you in any way. The rooms are fully air conditioned and kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast was a continental b/fast which covered most items. The views from the hotel were superb looking over the bay towards the Castle and the harbour which made a pleasant walk into the town & harbour. Richard & Kay  

Beach side with tremendous views

Stayed for a week. Location fantastic, the view from the rooms are stunning over the bay of Collioure. This is a basic  two star hote. You get what you pay for. Very clean, some smallish rooms, but the end rooms are a good size, bathrooms small but adequate. Breakfast, reasonable choice. The rooms could be made to look so much more welcoming with just a small amount of Capitol expenditure. Ie., better pillows, colourful cushions on the bed. Etc., the price is based on its location to the beach, and the incredible views. Pascale the lady receptionist is very helpful and speaks good English.   I love Collioure I think it is one of the most beautiful little towns, and I have already booked to go back to the Hotel Triton next year.

Fantastic location

We have stayed at the Triton several times, always in a room with a view of the beach and iconic harbour. This time, however, as a last minute booking on a national holiday weekend, we got the family suite at the back, overlooking the busy road. Triton is always clean and the bathrooms good. None of the rooms are large and the beds are not the most comfortable. Sound insulation is poor: this led to a complaint when my daughter's dog barked, alarmed by a sudden noise during the night. However, I would forgive the dated appearance and fading decor for one of the front facing rooms, just yards from the beach and with a fantastic view.

I'll forgive a lot for the seafront location.

The location of the hotel is it's main attraction. Literally overlooking the pretty beach and town of Collioure.  As close to the water's edge as you could possibly get. We stayed here in what must be classed as the low season (early April), but I can imagine that coming here in the height of summer would be a different proposition. Opted for a room with a view over the bay, but it wasn't particularly well appointed and the bathroom required gymnastic ability to negotiate due to it's, let's say compact and bijou, dimensions. The breakfast buffet in the morning was reasonable enough, with the owner literally crossing the road for more fresh croissants from the bakery when he was running low. As it was not too busy finding a parking spot in the municipal car park was not too much of a problem, but I can imagine in the height of summer this would be a massive frustration and there is a charge to pay as well. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Mini break by the sea

Not an inspiring hotel, if it was'nt for the view. grumpy staff, small rooms, no lift or help with bags. average breakfast. beautiful town. noparking on site. stay here only for location and view. parking is an issue in this town

excellent location, on the beach is it's redeeming feature

Unfortunately, we spent two nights in this hotel. The day we arrived the room was in a terrible state: dust almost everywhere, many hair in the room and pubic hair in the bathroom, leak in the bath ... The guy at the reception doesn't care about guests, he's provocative and patronising. He didn't apologized. Worst: he called the cleaning lady and shout at her in front of us telling her we weren't satisfied. There are plenty of charming hotels in Collioure, so please stay away from this terrible place. It's expensive... and the service really bad.

Go somewhere else

We arrived expecting to stay in the Hotel Triton. Instead, we were handed a metal keyfob for a three storey diplapidated novel of a building across the road. With bare stone walls, cracked glass screen shower and a safe which wasn’t connected to the wardrobe. Or could it be the hard as nails bed or dirty sofa? There was so much that was underwhelming about this hotel. 

Breakfast was stale baguette, cheap croissant and sliced processed cheese, oh and machine coffee.

I completely advise AGAINST ever staying at this excuse of a hotel.
