We were welcomed by the owner and showed to our lovely, boutique style, ensuite bedroom.   The hotel has a bar and excellent restaurant.  So no need to go any further once you have arrived.   Dinner was very good local food and breakfast was generous with homemade breads and cakes and jams.   A great place to relax in a vert tranquil area.

A friendly family run mountain hotel

About 7 Km off the N122 or 15 Km from the A75 just south of Clermont-Ferrand, this is a great little hotel and well worth the slight detour. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The rooms were clean and tidy and very comfortable. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and at ease dispite our poor French. The food in the restaurant was excellent and nothing was too much trouble! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I stayed in this Auberge for 3 nights as a base to explore the region.  It is very comfortable and full of character. The hosts were very nice and helpful.  They cooked us a meal on 2 of the nights we were there even though the restaurant was closed to the public.  We did appreciate this enormously because there is no where else to eat in the village and we would have had to drive to the closest large town after a very long drive when we were quite tired.  Both meals we had there were excellent. Breakfast was also very good. Wifi was quick to connect and reliable. The region is lovely, especially the Puy Mary area and this Auberge is a very good place to access this lovely part of France.

We arrived in time for lunch which was excellent, we had dinner which was extremely good and then retired to a very comfortable room. We went down for breakfast which was very good. A very friendly hotel with excellent service.
