The hotel was perfect! It is right next to the abbey. The building is beautiful and rooms are as well. It's so convenient to the parking, which is just up the road. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our view over the rooftops  was magical. We ate at their other restaurant and had a great meal with some fabulous wine! We can't wait to return!

Wonderful!

We had 2 nights here in the very centre of Conques. The room overlooked the abbey and had clear views of the village and beautiful countryside. There was a comfortable terrace across the hall with reclining chairs which we used to read. There is a terrace below that shaded by wisteria and both connect to the hotel bar. Breakfast is a little pricy but similar to other places. The only thing others might find annoying is the closeness of the abbey bells from 7am. There is great access to walking (2 GR routes including the Compostella way). 

Amazing setting 

Our dinner was fabulous.
Great food, nice wine, fabulous staff and a great setting on the Outside deck. The food was delicious - we had the duck and veal mains with fois Gras starters and good coffee and after dinner drinks.
Highly recommend.

A lovely dinner while on GR65

A very quiet and comfortable hotel opposite the Abbey. The short walk from the public car park was easy and the access as ok. If you can’t access the entrance via the stairs their is a side entrance with a ramp. A lift takes you to the two floors above.
Breakfast filled us up and was enjoyable. 
Staff spoke English which helped some of us with limited French. 
Looking forward to a return visit with my family.

Well worth an overnight stay in Conques and exploring the surrounds.

Our Chambre 3 had a big window, and the abbey church of Sainte Foy filled it, we were that close.  The room was spacious and well equipped.  It had no air-conditioning, but the nights were cool.  We also enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant.  A standout was the local wine, “Entraygues - Le Fel,” which we remembered from an earlier visit (we had the white wine, from varietal Chenin).

Our worst meal in 5 weeks, throughout Morocco and Spain. My dining partner asked for medium cooked steak it came out more than well done, he couldn’t cut it with a steak knife. My sea bass was cooked well and tasted good, but the vegetables looked like yesterday’s and very dry. We order the chocolate fondant which cane out hot,(from the microwave) and had a cold lump in the middle, Impossible said the waiter. My goodness this restaurant really needs a shake up.  There’s better restaurants around.

Absolutely a beautiful village...
Drove through the back roads to find our way and pulled in around 7:30pm.
Pretty late for a check in.
$130 at the desk and $107 on line.

Room was big and shower was nice size and so was the room but the decoration is a bit from the 80’s🤨

Bed was comfy and room overlooked the church and was nice to hear the bells ring.
Unfortunately, we also heard the elevator stop and start. So, wouldn’t suggest room #1 

Beautiful terrace area and my pups were accepted at $6 each- which is cheap for France.

Overall- great location, average concierge- I’d give it a 3.5 ⭐️
