This is a delightful small hotel just outside of Corte in a meticulously renovated old building. The staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are large and well appointed. Breakfast on the terrace is lovely. An excellent choice in a charming town !

An Excellent Choice in Corte

Whilst a little out of town it’s still a place we return to. The rooms are spacious clean,  quiet and the air con quiet too. The views over Corte and the mountains are fab. Especially with the fireworks on bastille day. The bonus is the pool - a perfect tonic after a days walking in the mountains . .

Hotel Si Mea offers nice, spacious and clean rooms with magnificent view on Corte and the surrounding mountains. I could not stop taking pictures of the scenery while having a lovely breakfast on the terrace. I appreciated the breakfast selection of Corsican meat and cheese products, fresh fruits and good coffee. The hotel is walking distance from downtown but also offers free parking. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean and charming place to stay.

Excellent choice!

We had a lovely stay for a couple of nights in this warm and welcoming hotel as we were travelling around Corsica. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room large and well equipped and the view from the terrace was stunning. An all round wonderful experience. Probably the best hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip. Corte is a great town set in the heart of the  mountains with a wealth of outdoor activities on offer.

We stayed at this Hotel for two nights as part of our touring holiday of Corsica. The hotel is located outside of the town which is about 10 minutes walk away. The Hotel is beautifully located with stunning views over the mountains. 
This is a converted mansion house and feels more like a deluxe bed and breakfast guest house than a hotel. Very pleasant and friendly welcome by the reception staff.
We had requested a mountain view room and we were given room no. 4 which led straight onto the terrace and was very spacious and had these lovely views of the mountains and the town of Corte. We had an ‘oast house’  style lounge attached to the bedroom with its own terrace door as well. The bathroom was large and had no bath but large walk in shower.  This actually is a room suitable for a disabled person.
The complimentary WiFi worked with average speed.
The continental breakfast at 9 Euros each was good value, and the outside seating area very pleasant.
The hotel has a good size swimming pool and loungers which is a bonus for the guests.
Ample hotel car parking.
My only adverse comment is that the aircon unit is on the floor standing next to one side of the bed, and aircon was needed at night, so we had to direct the airflow vertically to avoid being cold on that side of the bed.
Providing you are happy to be outside of the town then this Hotel is fine. You can drive into Corte and there is paid car parking available.


Very good hotel as a base in Corte

Arrived at the hotel at 2.30pm and met the 'Lady" in charge of rooms and asked if we could check in. She pointed at a sign on the reception desk saying receptionist will be back at 3pm. We then asked again if she could check us in or at least give us our room and we would check in a little later. After a lot of terrible body language and pulling of faces she pick up a key and led us to our made up room no 3 next to reception! why all the fuss heavens knows.
Room was small with 2 single beds, not what we booked, we decided not to stay paid for our 2 nights and left.

NOT FOR US

It was a first night away at Hotel Si Mea and Corte let us know we were in a new place but welcome! We lived Corte and the view of Corte from the hotel. The breakfast gave us a great start for our hike in the nearby valley. Thanks!
