La Tirelire

This is is a guesthouse, or chambre d'hotes as the French call them. The owner, Brigete is very warm person, she naturally knew how to peal through the stranger layer and made you feel at home. I felt comfortable as soon as I stepped in. She speaks fairly good English with a German-French accent, like all Germans they're reluctant to say they can speak English, I think they're worried of misdirecting people and want to be very accurate in their answers. Breakfast was fun, Brigete likes have conversations and entertain her guest and give recommendations to the lodger as to where to go, eat and how to get there. My room was very clean and spacey with it's own personal bathroom. Decoration was very neat, old European style. The little village or the hamlet has a very country scene. A very pleasant stay. P.S. If you drink raw milk, as Brigete for directions to a local raw milk machine that's 1.5 miles away from her home.
