On the paper the best place to have a romantic stay. In fact if you get the bedroom downstairs you'll have to cope with tiny toilets (impossible to close the door), a noisy and short bed, the swimming pool will not be available  but do not worry the owner will consolate you with a glass of poor local wine. Try to avoid- there are better places at a much, much lower price.

We stayed overnight while travelling across France and wished we could have stayed for longer. Beautifully restored farm with beautiful grounds. More enjoyable in good weather but very cosy in poor weather. In the countryside (hard to find - ask for directions) but ideally located for Blois, Cheverny and the Touraines Chateaux. We travelled with children who were welcomed happily by Katy & Francois who are great friendly hosts (English speaking too).

Country Estate amongst the Chateaux

Very nice ancient renovated farm with a feeling of authenticity, coziness and well-being. Perfect place for a quiet and relaxing week-end. The owners were very friendly and eager to help make your stay more enjoyable in the Loire Valley.

Very cosy and authentic

Katy and Renard are perfect hosts. From my first communication with Katy through email she was warm, friendly and supremely helpful. Hospitality comes screaming through this beautiful farm house. The setting is beautiful. The farm is being lovingly restored. When you stay here have dinner (table d'hote) We enjoyed a very special evening, fireside... Enjoying great food prepared by Katy and Renard. Perfect freshness, spot on preparation, delicious and the wines were perfect. Only surpassed by their hospitality. Breakfast was excellent. The next morning we were treated to a tour around the area in the 1937 Citroen... With Renard smiling all the way. We were traveling on bicycle enjoying the natural beauty of the Loire here we experienced the beauty of the French people. We must return. Please do not change a thing. It is simply perfect. A life long memory. In 10 years when we reflect on our trip through the Loire, our stay here will still be a fresh memory.

Perfection! We would change nothing...

I spent 2 nights here and was very sorry to leave. The inn is beautifully situated in the countryside and is close to all of the chateaux.  The grounds are absolutely stunning, filled with beautiful trees and gardens.  On the grounds, there is a  lovely pool and tennis court.   My room was very comfortable and nicely decorated.   Breakfast was delicious and most ample. My hosts were extremely pleasant and provided me with maps and discounted admissions to the chateaux.  I will definitely return on my next trip to the Loire Valley.
