It's getting really crazy in this hotel. We got used to it better with Ibis Budget. This time, the catch: no towels in the bathroom. I had to wipe myself with a sheet.

Worse and worse

Stayed for a few days September 2016 and was ideal for a base for visiting World War 1 battlefield sites and Ypres. Just off autoroute but very quiet in hotel. Nothing fancy, large room but could have done with more furniture. Out early morning and back late at night so only used for a bedroom. Nearby restaurant pretty good. Large secure free car park. Continental breakfast in lobby, not great but OK for 6 Euro's. Would go again as En-Suite very good and far better than F1 hotels (one nearby) If on a budget this is the one to go for.

Good location for WW1 Battlefields Tour

We got the impression of a ghost hotel... the outside is cooling and surprised by the architecture that made us think of an industrial building. Well we're trying to recover our room at the end of no printing paper, we're photographing the code, entering: welcome ras on the other hand we're going through a glass corridor that's more than old with tiles in less than d where dripping a white liquid and large traces of infiltration on the wall also, a bad smell of mold on the ground floor we get to the floor no way to access our room the code doesn't work. We're back around 5pm from the very nice staff elsewhere, so at this point, we found another room so that we can't get back to our room. So when we're halfway through the door of the hotel and we're in the late morning, we're trying to get a nice person who doesn't seem to be able to get into the coffee shop or a lot of people who have a lot of trouble to use it.

We went there for one night last weekend. The host was uncomfortable. He was playing on his phone. Not very professional. When we got into the room, it was very hot. It was at least 35 degrees inside. The bathroom was dirty, there was urine on the floor. We were switched rooms still happy considering the price we paid. 47th for one night without breakfast.

To avoid

Old hotel, doesn't seem to be in, dirty, room functionality is absolute, what surprises me is that the regional headquarters of AccorHotel is in front of the hotel so how do you explain leaving a hotel in this sad old state.....first stay and last about me!!!!

For 25 years I've been an Accor customer I've reached the top!! first room with garbage can with garbage and toilet towel used second room a brothel!!!! finally the third room ok

The most awful place I have ever stayed in. My partner and I had only been in bed a couple of hours when we were woken by buzzing noises then we started to itch ,realising we had a problem I got up to look for a member of staff to no avail so went back to bed . 1 hour later we could stand it no more so got up and slept in our car in the car park for rest of night. When I spoke to a member of staff at breakfast he just shrugged his shoulders as if he couldn't care.

But some repairs needed. For example, the toilet flush in one room was a piece of string... 
Features basic but clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Conveniently close to shops, karting kfc and motorway

This hotel is well situated for exploring the local area, as it close to the major routes North to South and only about 20 miles from the Belgian Border.
It is in urgent need of upgrading as it is to say the least "Very Tatty"
The rooms are clean and the shower worked well.
Breakfast is probably the worst value for money breakfast I have had the misfortune to pay have for in advance.  Very poor and the man in charge at breakfast time needs a lot of training in how to deal with customers. The first morning, he had cleared everything away by 09.20am and he reluctantly put out some coffee and stale cake.

In Need Of Refurbishment

Awful stay. No one available on arrival and no way of contacting anyone. My wife booked a triple room and the room instead was a small double bed. Pillows and sheets were only provided for one person. Room smelt of cigarette smoke and the window had been left wide open. After an uncomfortable night we left covered in bites and complained to the man on duty who said he would pass on our complaint and arrange for a full refund for us. We heard nothing further. We contacted Ibis Customer Care. They simply offered us a 10% refund against our next full price Ibis stay and have refused to engage. We are still seeking the refund we were promised. This is our worst hotel experience ever.
