We spend the weekend in the "gite" with 3 families including 2 children. The gite is in fact a house with all modern comfort and 4 bedrooms, all in perfect state. On top, the site is ideally located to explore the Champagne region and, last but not least, Sébastien Pascal is an excellent host and makes great champagnes! To return!

Everything for the perfect weekend!

The Chateau de Cuisles is the home of Champagne Sébastien Pascal and family!  The magically wonderful B&B are on one side while the champagne house is on the other side of this massive old world large property!  You enter from a country road through a wonderful set of gates down a tree lined road to 12 century grand chateau with a very ornate courtyard surrounded by magnificent trees!  This Chateau offers some of the best bed and breakfast accommodations we had on our travels for 3 1/2 weeks in France.  

There was 2 of us and we had the whole place to ourselves. We had a marvelous room with loads of antique furniture with huge modern french bathroom with fluffy towels, hair dryer, soaps and all modern fixtures like TV, WI-FI in the main bedroom!  Wow what a bedroom I felt like a King & Queen, it was huge had to be 5 times the size of Paris hotel room we had!  We had a wonderful views of the back of the expansive tailored grounds looking towards the hills of all the wonderful vineyards!  Three sets of windows opened onto this perfect & peaceful view, matter fact one morning we saw deer right below in the grassy area.  

Mr. Sebastien Pascal greeted us warmly upon our arrival and made sure we were settled into are room for the next 3 nights.  Sebastien was the up most gracious host helping us find local petrol station, along with local market to get our snacks for our day trips. The chateau has a wonderful breakfast area for breakfast that is stunningly decorated with wonderful tables, chairs, table cloths, and art, & tapestries!  Sebastien setup breakfast to accomodate our time in the AM, and served a wonderful breakfast full of many items typically French for breakfast, coffee, tea, homemade jams, croissants, french bread, cereals, milk, butter, yogurts, applesauce, 2 types of juice, with cheese also.

The B&B Chateau de Cuisles for us was perfect on so many levels!  It was perfectly situated between Reim's, & Epernay for our road trips in to explore both towns!  We enjoyed the landscape around the chateau with the large trees, local forest deer and the tranquil setting of pure quite!  For our travels in the area Sebastien had many suggestions and we asked about places to eat and he suggested mutiple places in both Reims & Epernay!  He even called ahead & made reservations at La Grillade Gourmande in Epernay, under his name to get a great table.  It was so good we had two lunches there on 2 different days!  His suggestions are spot on what a great host!

Please make sure you taste his wonderful champagnes that Sebastien vinifies himself with his family!  His showroom is beautiful and his cellars are gorgeous inside, not to mention his champagnes are to die for!  This fellow knows his stuff and he produces some of the best bubbles I have ever had in my lifetime!  They are all grand cru classe grapes with a top notch champagne cellar master at the helm of the ship!

With having spent 4 fantastic days and three tranquil nights with Sebastien & his family at their "Chateau de Cuisles" you could not want for anything more. It was a slice of heaven for us wanting to return again and again. The best part for us here in the states was we made friends for life with him in our books.

WONDERFUL, FLAWLESS, FANTASTIC, ROMANTIC, LUXURY, PEACEFUL VISIT

The Chateau de Cuiles is the home of Champagne Sébastien Pascal and whilst the winery occupies one side of a grand and ornate courtyard the magnificent Chateau offers bed and breakfast accommodation on the other.

Four of us stayed in early June and had the Chateau to ourselves. Msr Pascal greeted us warmly (although do be aware that arrival is expected at 1700 onward) and after allowing us to settle into the homely and comfortable rooms we were treated to a Champagne tasting that resulted in us happily buying our chosen favorites to bring home.

Sadly we seemed to be staying on a local holiday so both the nearest restaurants were closed. We had to travel to Epernay to find anywhere to eat, but at other times a local trout farm offers informal eating and a nearby village offers one more formal restaurant.

The main thing about The Chateau de Cuiles is its location. Simply stunning views of the wine growing valley to the west are available from the bedrooms and sitting outside in the evening (with a glass of champagne of course!) saw us sitting in almost total silence from the surrounding area. ~(In fact the only sound was from jets passing seven miles high overhead!) Total magic!

Breakfast was served at 0830 with a beautiful spread encompassing products grown locally and in the Chateau's garden. I would have liked to have seen ham included but a polite request saw some produced quickly, and if that had not been available a promise to run to the nearest village to buy some! 

With the only drawback being a lack of nearby restaurants the Chateau offers a truly magical experience and the opportunity to buy some truly wonderful Champagne.

Hotel with romantic feeling near both Epernay and Reims.The owner of the hotel also have his own Champagnemark wich is verh good. Small familyhotel with different style in every room. Traditional french breakfast. Good service but bring cash because they don't accept cards.
