This is really the best place to stay at Digoin, especially after rooms renovation.
The new design, nice colors, excellent AC, very-very comfortable bed.
Try to reserve room with river view and balcony.
Wi-Fi signal was not very strong in our room, but near reception and in public areas - no problem.

Best place to stay at Digoin

Pretty Logis hotel in quaint town.  We arrived on an  amazingly hot day.  Our room was large but as there was no air/con (which we didn't expect)  it felt   stiflingly hot  so we asked for a fan.  The man we spoke to just said "no"!   It would have been absolutely impossible to sleep in that heat, so I  asked again.  This time, the women I spoke to who could have been the owner  - slightly  grudgingly - said she would try and find one which she did and this made the room temperature bearable.  Ate outside in the evening and the meal was very good.  Breakfast was rather disappointing .  The dining room was small and dark and a french family who was also staying took everything from the buffet and put in on their table as if they were at home!  Interesting pictures in the hotel taken prior to modernisation.  Also  nice  riverside walks nearby.

Pretty Hotel

We were visiting the area and planned two nights at this hotel, the room was clean and comfortable and we were lucky we had a view over the courtyard and the river, we also had our own balcony which was great to sit out on and enjoy the early evening sun with a drink!
Our first evening we sampled the hotel restaurant and were very impressed the food was outstanding!
Regrettably Sunday evening the restaurant was closed, so we had to eat out!
The only other disappointment was that we had to stay another night, but the hotel decided it was closing for the Monday !! Found this very odd considering it was the start of the season, no explanation was offered and we have no idea how long it was to remain closed for.
Breakfasts were adequate, if I am to be picky, perhaps more could be done with this.

Nice hotel with great food

We are stayed here for our brother beutiful wedding. The place really nice small town, our room quite big and with big bathroom, terrace. No 6. clean comfortable bed, nice breakfast.. big breakfast. and nice view. Beside the hotel has small old style cinema, we love too see.

The restaurant open by appointment because in winter, a little dissapointed with the the food, possible because winter, everything not fresh. really nice decoration and quite pricy compare then other place we have been, the wild meat really nice.

Beatiful stones house hotel beside the river

We have stayed at Les Diligences a couple of times in the past month or so and found it very welcoming and comfortable. The restaurant is quite formal and the menu a little limited, especially as it does not change very often. The rooms are fine. On our first visit we had a family room on two floors;  on the second visit a smaller family room with a balcony, both overlooking the pretty courtyard.  Wifi is a bit variable - distinctly better in our second room.

Very comfortable stay 

The hotel seemed to be slumbering for the off season. The terraces were closed and being used for weight training by one of the staff. The bikes were stored in a shed in the courtyard. The hotel is old historic and dark but charming. It is located in the centre of town. We are in a small dining room. Dinner was really good. Breakfast was fine. Recommended
