The worst hotel I've ever been to... The screen is nice, old stones, paved courtyard, wells, red shutters... but you're quickly unplugging the door: tasteless decor, fake beams off the ceiling, etc... and no one at the reception. Arriving at 3:30 p.m. I had to wait until 6:15 p.m. to see someone arrive at the reception... (no one answers the phone before... unattributed number... they probably unplugged the box to be quiet...).

Hotel to be avoided absolutely!

No one to welcome you when you warned. No towels (or soap, but that's okay) in the bathroom, and when you ask for them, they bring them to us...humid! and the bouquet...no hot water, and that, for several months, according to the comms! and no one to receive our complaints at the beginning! and I pass on a ruined bathroom!

It's expensive to pay for so little service!

Where do I start, it was awful and so bad we did not feel safe enough to stay - I have never had an experience like it. I should've known something was wrong because over the few months since we booked the hotel failed to answer various emails.
I just wish we had not just relied on reviews from the booking site, but checked here and other places before we booked. When we got to the hotel, the room wasn’t ready and the hotelier said our three bank cards had been declined and he wanted us to go and get cash. We had heavy bags, the weather was in excess of 30 degrees and we'd been on the road for hours.
We have evidence that all our card companies confirmed no attempt to take payment was ever made. This raised big fraud concerns which my card company agreed with. The hotelier didn't appear to like that I called my credit card company rather than get cash out and started to talk over my call and made gesticulations. I had to raise my hand to ask him to stop.
Because the booking was guaranteed by credit card we felt sure he was trying to defraud us and get two payments (one in cash and one via Booking dot com). We've since discovered this sort of thing has happened before leaving customers out of pocket.
The hotelier was rude, arrogant and aggressive - stomping around, closing doors and rattling keys. He was utterly dismissive & rude when we asked if his card machine might be broken. It's always possible one card might not have worked, but an attempt to take money would have been visible by the credit card company and there was nothing to suggest an attempt had been made to get payment. But for three cards from three separate banks to ‘fail’ - all functional and with credit feels extremely dodgy. There hadn't been a problem with any of them before visiting this hotel and there wasn't after. The credit card company said there was no reason their end it wouldn’t have worked. 
The company we booked the hotel through have been useless when we called for help leaving us feeling very unsafe in this man's company, not least because of the hotelier's aggressive behaviour towards us. It appears the hotel has a long standing reputation for taking too much money, not having rooms ready, bed bugs and turning families away late at night from rooms already paid for - a simple internet search provides some horrendous experiences over a number of years. I’m surprised Dijon council hasn't closed them down to be honest.
We didn’t feel safe with this man, so we were forced to find another hotel - sadly three times the price, but the staff were lovely and actually opened up rooms they'd closed because of potential noise from a party. They were extremely shocked at how we had been treated.
I have absolutely no trust in this hotel. We would've been safer sleeping in our car. I just hope I never experience anything like this again.

Not a hotel but a nightmare

It's a shame! The frame is very nice - old relay with charming old stones. But the owner has changed, and since the service is really retired. Bad quality bed, bathroom remodeled but by amateurs (cut the electrical wires that hang above the shower or the tile that turns the bathtub faucet). No small drop due to the covid meter... but not at all announced by the reception, and the cash payment in advance is at least doubtful.

What a pity.

Our reservation was canceled by the hotel just before our arrival time without any explanation, and the reception staff went to the reservation plant while the cancellation was coming from the hotel.

We had booked a room for two nights. We arrived at the hotel at 4:00 pm, there was no one at the reception. We had to wait until 5:00 pm to finally see a quine energy arriving who didn't even say hello, didn't even apologize and in fact we felt like bothering him. We heard a simple one: Have you booked? We give our name and there he tells us all about you that the room isn't ready! My friend and I start to get a little angry and the receptionist kindly makes us understand that if we're not happy we can go see somewhere else. Incredible! We decide to drink a glass patient by going to a terrace and after an hour we can finally take possession of our room.

Unqualified

What to say... if the building is beautiful, the room is acceptable even though the TV is not working. We were offered a breakfast to eat between 7.30 and 10.00, which we accepted. At 8.15, there was no one... no table set up... we called the in case of absence bell on the hotel's landline... no one's ever answered. For the check out... Not like a soul. We had to leave the room for 10 hours between 8.30 and 9.00 not a soul at the reception. The only advice that we met on the spot at our first arrival was calf!!!.... So from a professional point of view, given... an institution to avoid zero.

The worst thing is: From about 2 to about 5.30 pm, there was a cavity noise (music and shouting of half-time) coming out of the neighbourhood. Shame! no one to greet you; when the owner finally shows up it's to scream to put on the mask, which we had forgotten in the car but were ready to go get it. The bottom line: the rooms: out of 4 rooms, 2 had the sink closed! There were no pillows! The cherry on the cake: at the time of payment, the blue card was broken for an hour! Hotel very well located less than 10 minutes walk from the historic centre of Dijon It is in its juice but clean little bemool for heating missing in this interseason but staff is in the small care
