It is an hotel in historical buildings, the heating of the room was not enough, a lot of noice of the room above my room ( because of the wooden floor and lack of isolation I could hear every movement of the other guests)  Restaurent is OK.  The hotel is about 3 km from the village ( where there are no shops or other restaurents or pubs ).

Good: The location is very nice, in the middle of fields and forests. The room rate and restaurant are at very reasonable price. The Quality of food and drinks in the tavern was very good.

Not good: The room had a foul smell & service in restaurant quite unfriendly (teatment of guests as solicitors)

All in good stay-over in the middle of North Vosques

We had driven for 8 hours that day and we arrived to what looked like a pretty farm. The car read 39C HOT, and of course it's a farm. Dinner was "Pub Grub" and apart from the completely burnt cherry tart served for dessert it was fine but it's eaten under an awning accompanied by the strong smell of animal dung!
 
There are many buildings and it seemed one brother had so many and another the rest. This place is an example of how photos can deceive. Our room was dingy with cracked plaster and old cracked tiles in the bathroom. It smelt of damp and something else. (We later likened it to a teenage boy's pit of a bedroom). The room was not aired or well presented and the bedding was of very poor quality. The pillows smelt of sweat and we had doubts about the cleanliness of all the bedding because we asked for an extra pillow and it came with a clean pillow slip, the difference was noticeable. 

Breakfast was in the house. (Rather like an old, none too clean pub) and flies kept resting on the meagre food stuffs on offer. No warm croissants here! When a bluebottle fly landed on the pate' that was it...we paid and left. 

Had we not been so exhausted from our drive, having seen just the room, we would have left. We truly cannot understand why there are such good reviews. Avoid would be our advice no matter how low cost it is to stay here.

The worst room we have ever experienced. It smelt and was not clean.

A great place to take your family. It was just out of town on a farm.  It was a Friday night so it was quite busy.   We ate indoors since it was rather cool, but many families were outdoors and having a great time.  The food was good and the service was good.  They speak either German or French mostly in this area so it was good that our son could converse with the people at the restaurant. I would definitely go back if we were ever in this area again.

French Farm Tavern

We stayed one night here on our way home from England to Poland. It was the cheapest accommodation of the trip but one of the nicest. When we arrived, we were worried that our booking had been forgotten (there is no deposit payable) but the owner soon sorted things out. We then ate dinner in the guest house restaurant - superb snails and Alsace wine.

The family room was very spacious and warm and most of the ingredients for breakfast including the jams, honey and pate, were homemade. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and the kids loved the rabbits (with wine bottles for water) and goats. Great place.

Price doesn't always reflect quality

Nice people, super apartment with separate room for the kids.  Great surroundings to walk, it is next to the woods and the farm is authentic with an entire family at work. Little kittens, rabbits to please the kids. A lot of the food and ingredients is home-grown and home-made. Simply delicious and friendly. Breakfast included and very democratic price.
