We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel on our walk on the GR65. It was a particularly hot week but the hotel was very comfortable with good wifi, comfortable room and bathroom. Bed was great and breakfast was most satisfying. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed but we were given a voucher to another nice restaurant close by by the hotel. No lift but our bags had already been taken to our room which was much appreciated (this did not happen anywhere else on our 24 day walk 😊).

Very central hotel

Five of us came for dinner as we were touring the Armagnac region.  It was good local french food.  The service was good.

Everyone enjoyed their dishes from fish to beer.  The desserts were also good

I stayed in the Propolis Room, which has been updated since the website photos, and includes a comfortable bed and pillows, soft sheets, a spotlessly clean bedroom, shower room and separate loo, and is so quiet that I napped in the afternoon AND enjoyed a sound night's sleep. And then there's a cosy restaurant at the foot of the hotel stairs... Dinner - gazpacho and duck breast cooked by the owner - was delicious and the wine list well-considered. Breakfast included multiple options as well as homemade jams. 
The owners were welcoming, attentive without being intrusive and their staff were all friendly and helpful. 
I definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant and hope to return myself.

Welcoming, spotless, efficient and excellent restaurant on site

An old hotel which has been renovated well. Our room was very comfortable with a large double bed.
Half board dinner menu was good and breakfast was typical of the Pilgrim Way but good quality.
Staff were all excellent.
Good wifi in the room.
Central location in the old town.

Highly recommend.

Good stop on the GR65 

Recommended to me by my hostess at Le Bernussan B & B in Demu (incidentally well worth a visit as 'special'). 
The atmosphere outside was great and the choice of menus gave good options. The service attentive and the local wine very drinkable! An enjoyable evening. 

In the centre of town

What a wonderful experience! This was my first time in Eauze and the Hotel Henri IV made it a wonderful stay! The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable and made my time in Eauze very enjoyable. The accommodations are very nice and the restaurant is delicious! 

Wonderful experience!

The position of this hotel is perfect at the centre of the town. The welcome is warm and service efficient. The rooms are spacious and ,though simply, they are well furnished & clean. The prices are cheap for what you get. I also recommend the restaurant. You can eat cheaply on the daily set menus or spend more on the local foie gras etc. if that is your desire. I have returned to this hotel/restaurant many times & will continue to do so. One note of caution is the parking. If lucky you can park right beside it. If not, a 5 minute walk is necessary.
