Quite simply, don’t stay anywhere else if you’re visiting Epernay and want a comfortable, stylish, centrally located home from home! Our hostess was delightful and welcoming, serving us a delicious glass of champagne and home made canapé when we arrived. Our lovely ground floor room complete with sitting room area and access to the small courtyard was very well appointed with every luxury. Our breakfast featured a selection of scrumptious home made yoghurt, preserves and cakes - Laure’s hospitality is fantastic. There was even a wee packet of home made shortbread for us to take away - a lovely touch. I can’t recommend this charming bed and breakfast enough!

First Class

We met our friends from the UK (a total party of 4 adults) in Epernay and stayed July 28-30. The guest rooms are on the bottom floor, consist of two rooms each, and are very spacious and quiet. The host is lovely and very accommodating.  We really enjoyed the champagne welcome with homemade cookies and treats. The host provided a wonderful breakfast for our gluten-free friend, and croissants, ham, cheese, eggs, homemade yogurt and butter, muesli, jams, juice and coffee/tea for the rest of us. Very filling and delicious!

We have traveled throughout Europe and this stay was one of the easiest to book, in the best location of Epernay and you can walk from the train station and stop along the way for tastings.  We were not disappointed. 

Note: car parking is available on the street, pack your eye shades for the streetlight if you are light sensitive when sleeping, rooms are quiet, windows open for great breezes. In the two rooms suites you'll find a fan, mini fridge, coffee/tea maker, make-up remover, cotton swabs, shampoo and soap, plenty of towels, a TV and direct access out to the Lanai.

Great Stay in Epernay!

Having had the most amazing experience in Epernay last weekend, I  just had to give “a big shout” to our hostess Laure, who owns Les Epicuriens in Epernay, where we stayed. 

Located in the heart of Epernay & within very easy walking distance of many of the champagne houses, this delightful B&B was a true “find” for us & our friends from the USA.

Laure provided super comfortable rooms with a bathroom stocked with amenities that you would normally only expect to find in a 5* hotel. 
On our first night she served her  delicious homemade canapés with glasses of  champagne 🥂 in her little courtyard, before we walked to our chosen restaurant for dinner

Breakfast was fantastic👍. 
Laure not only made her own butter, yoghurt & cream! She prepared the best freshly squeezed orange juice, baked delicious gluten free bread & gluten free cake for me & she shared lots of her local knowledge too. We felt very spoiled & cosseted throughout our stay. 
Her charming husband Eric, runs a gorgeous little shop in Ay ( 10 mins in the car) where he offers “champagne tastings” from small boutique champagne houses, gourmet organic food and delicious coffee - well worth a visit 
So, if you’re thinking of going Epernay, be sure to stay at Les Epicuriens.

The best B&B in Epernay!

Laure is amazing! The best hostess! Everything has the most beautiful attention to detail. Biscuits and treats waiting for arrival. A champagne and bread tasting on arrival. The most delicious breakfast ever. With homemade jams, butter, champagne bread and yogurts all made by Laure herself. She even allows you to take home the little jars of jam. The rooms are huge and spacious with a lounge and lovely patio. Laure has thought of everything and there is everything you could possibly need in your room. I could stay there for a month. It felt like home. I would just leave much fatter. Hahaha. Thanks Laure. We loved our stay with you!

Great location. We walked to town to do the balloon ride. And I did it in heels. Super close but still quiet. One road away from Moet. Just perfect in every way!

The best experience. So memorable! Such a perfect hotel. 

Laure is a very kind and thoughtful host.
I stayed in the Chevral room which is beautiful and huge. Sooo relaxing  The bed is so comfortable.
I had a very relaxing massage by Nelly and I had a dinner created by Laure accompanied by a delightful glass of champagne. It really was delightful. Being in the centre of Epernay you could walk everywhere.
Highly recommended. 

What an incredible place to stay.

Had a lovely one night stay. The location is just a short walk from the shops and avenue de champagne. We found parking on the street just outside. The host, as others have noted, is super friendly and very accommodating. Even offered to let us check in early. She also made us a reservation at a local restaurant with a lovely terrace (COVID-19 after all). 

Breakfast was simply amazing. Served on the sunny back porch, had eggs, ham, cheese, homemade breakfast bread, yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice. Wow!

Room was large and comfortable. Large double bed with a side sitting room. Well stocked with amenities. The shower is not in its own separate room but not an issue for couples. Highly recommend.

Amazing breakfast, friendly host

We have just got home from the loveliest stay! Laure is the best host, so welcoming and friendly. The suite was perfect, super comfortable bed, so many thoughtful touches. Loved the complimentary welcome flutes of champagne.
We opted to have dinner and it was delicious, served in our sitting room everything home made used with regional products.
If you are travelling to the region this is the authentic way of discovering the champagne culture! 
We will be going back as soon as we can :-)

Simply the best!!!!

Les Epicuriens is very well located in the center of Epernay with access to restaurants and big champagne houses within walking distance. It is the private house of Laure and her family and has two beautifully decorated suites. We were lucky to get one on a mid September weekend in 2019. It is quiet and comes with a shared terrace for the two suites. Laure is a wonderful host and offers a glass of champagne as a welcome treat. She cooks dinner for you if you order so. Her breakfast in the morning is excellent and served at the time you wish. Parking on the street might be available, but not guaranteed. We really enjoyed the stay.

Jolie, jouette, agréable

Like others have said, this is a great location, great rooms, clean bathrooms, relaxing courtyard, very quiet, comfortable amenities, street parking is available somewhere on/around her block, but the best part of this place is the host, Laure! I originally told her we would be there between 1-2 pm but we got delayed. I sent an email but she didn’t get it in time. It was totally my fault, but if you won’t be there when you originally said, just call her to let her know—great English. The two rooms are on the bottom floor of her house, so she wants to make sure she’s there for your arrival. Even with my mistake, she was so accommodating and dropped everything to hurry home to welcome us in. Throughout our two night stay, she was very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions based on our mood. Would have like to have her cooking like so many commented on how yummy it is. MOST AWESOME THING ABOUT HER—hee helpfulness. Our rental car died when we tried to leave. She was so very helpful. She served as our translator for the every call we needed to make (and there were plenty since it was Saturday, over lunch, with so many Europcar numbers not working, etc with problems). I just can’t say enough about what a great person she is. If you choose to stay here, you will not be disappointed. A very trustworthy place. THANK YOU, LAURE for everything!!!!

BEST, BEST HOST!!! AMAZING LOCATION!!

Last-minute we were looking for an accommodation and so happy we found Les Epicuriens! Laure is very friendly and easygoing. Welcomed us with champagne and a late-night meal. The suite is horse-themed. The bed is very comfortable. Thanks for having us!
