Decided to go to France on a whim for a couple of days with the family. Easy to book, easy to communicate and great value. Will definitely be returning. Around 45 mins from Calais so easy to get to. Really close to the beach so would be great for the summer!

Clean, tidy, easy

Fine apartment for 4 people. Entrance hall, living + kitchen, bedroom with 1 double bed, bedroom with bunk beds, bathroom with lavobo and shower. Domain is located higher up about 1 km from the beach. Ample parking. Friendly staff. Breakfast service available. No wifi available in our apartment.
Ideal as a base for visiting Boulogne-sur-Mer.

It was great

We’re given villa 49 on check in for three nights. Spacious for two with two sleeping rooms upstairs (queen with balcony sea view) and a tiny bathroom with window (tub is shower with black fungus in corners, loo and sink with an overused mirror cupboard, hairdryer and well lit). Downstairs a loo, kitchenette with electric cooker, coffee machine, electric kettle, microwave, dishwasher, sink, everything you need for breakfast and cold dinner, probably also for cooking. Dining table with 6 more or less damaged chairs, setty for 4 that us probably also a spare bed for 2, 2 comfortable armchairs, TV. On terrace table for 4-6, we saw 4 chairs and used the two best ones. 
Beds have linen. We only had a shower towel each (no small ones but also no space to hold them), toilet paper, shower gel, small soap and shampoo were there, as was stuff for kitchen. 
Not cheap but would stay again as well located .

Overused but well located

When an accomodation reaches a certain cost per night you expect the quality of said accomodation to rise to meet that cost. This place does not. We rented an apartment with four beds for four nights. The first impression of the room was that it is very worn and not very cared for. It had a fishy, moist smell to it. We had planned to use the kitchen for dinner during our stay, but the plates and utensils where stained and the kitchen smelled of old grease. The shower had a layer of black/brown "stuff" around the edge at the bottom and black mould on the walls. We were only given four big towels and no small ones. When I told reception that there where not enough towels she charged us 5 euro per extra towel. Also there is not any aircondition. Not everything is bad though.  The location is great. Just a short walk to the Equihen plage which is fantastic! The room is spacious and there is a furnished, private space outside for every room. Free parking.

I'ts just not..

Lovely apartment in lovely village, with fantastic beach, downsides are it’s an unfinished complex so workmen started at 9am.
No local shops, it’s described as beachfront but it’s a 10 min walk downhill, reception only open during day so unless you pre order breakfast you can’t have it. Only a couple of local restaurants which reception had no knowledge of so couldn’t book for us.
The cafe at the beach is excellent and during day there is a crepe stall on car park at top of beach road 

Good value and value

Nice apartment tho building site opposite, needs a lick of paint outside. Comfortable bed, good mini kitchen & bathroom. Bit long walk to beach. Could do with some facilities. Nice quiet stay but most other apartments were empty.

The beach nearby is really nice.
Howver, please note the follwoing based on our experience: The distance from the beach was approximately 1 km but climbing up the hill with a small child can be a burden.
We needed to use the car constantly and the parking facilities in the beach were not adequate. The furniture in the room was worn out (especially the couch!) and the cleanliness was very modest, even amid Covid-19. When I checked out I was requested to collect all the garbage, sheets, towels by myself.
The complex is quite big so the advertised sea-view included only a patch of sea among the houses from our terrace. 
In the house we had to buy everything - soap, dish-sponge, dish-detergent, everything. 
There was not even a telephone to contact the reception. For everything I wanted I had to walk there and 1 km uphill in 35 degrees with the sun for a simple question is not the best option. On top, the street inside the complex is one-way downwards. So in order to go by car, I had to drive all around the adjacent village.
No wi-fi available but we were informed about this from the beginning. However, the 4G network in the specific area was very slow.

Adequate but definitely not value for money.

Very nice house, clean, spacious, very well furnished. Beautiful location to the Equihen Plage Beach. Service was very good. Was a pity having no WiFi or Smart TV if the kids wanted a rest, but other than that no complaints & would recommend to stay here again.

Very nice accommodation, beautiful peaceful location

This property of Evancy is very well-situated and offers spectacular views to the sea. The villas are very well-maintained and are furnished with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including clean linens and provision of cleaning kits. The holiday homes are in close proximity to the beach as well short drives away to nearby coastal towns. It was definitely a very comfortable stay for 8 people for a short weekend away. 
Just a small note: would be for the provision of hand soap bars at all the 3 sinks (including the kitchen) in the villa, not just in the main bathroom.

Comfortable weekend away

The cottage was very comfortable with modern furnishings. We were at maximum capacity (8 of us), but had plenty of space. Everything was clean and well maintained, 
including the kitchen equipment. The outside space was a highlight, with a balcony in the master bedroom and a patio downstairs with a view of the sea. The cottages are well-situated, a very short walk to the beach and near many other beautiful beaches and towns.
