Erquy

Stayed here for three nights. This is a little out of the way gem. We came to visit friends in Erquy which is 3km away. Very welcoming, breakfast was lovely, table laid and ready. Room was fabulous, tea and coffee a fridge, clean and amazingly comfy. My only regret is that we didn't eat in the restaurant as we had plans but if we return it will be on the top of our list. Merci xxxx

Tucked away gem

One night at the relay of Saint Aubin in a very nice room where everything is studied to feel good. Breakfast is just great with good homemade products. Hosts to our care who still welcomed us while the relay was closed (the mysteries of some booking site :) We will surely come back to enjoy this wonderful place again and test the restaurant.

Authentic, warm, calm

A guest room as we dream... a charming old-fashioned place, spacious and comfortable rooms, perfect breakfasts with local and natural produce served by a lovely hostess.

Sublime

A beautiful old house, all green. A charming garden. A very welcoming hostess (born in Finland). A cozy clean room. A lovely restaurant, many guests come for dinner. Great breakfasts. The best croissants.

It's a wonderful hotel, with character.

We had lunch outside, a very warm terrace, then the tasting menu, which is gorgeous, the St. Jacques cooked in all these forms!

In this late July, it's the heat of Paris, at 1 o'clock in the morning, we're having trouble sleeping.Tomorrow, it'll be even hotter § Where can we find some coolness? At ERQUY, LA RELAIS SAINT AUBIN is a little far from the beaches (3 km ), where there's too many people...with this temperature. This evening, we eat outdoors, in the greenery, in the middle of the beautiful flowers...freshness, calm, the beaches not too far away... that's what we need. A beauty, with an old well. Several menus, offered at 42€, terrace, holy things: among other things: jack-o'-lance brooches, I love this main dish, I've chosen a beautiful house, I've chosen a beautiful sandstone, I've chosen a beautiful sandstone, I've chosen a great place to eat in the pasture, I've chosen a beautiful sandstone, I've chosen a great place to eat in the pasture...

A little rest and good cooking

Stayed one night at Relais Saint Aubin. Friendly reception and large bedroom with four poster bed. The only downsize was the number of flies when we had breakfast - quite off putting! Gardens were interesting and able to walk in the countryside.

Unusual!

On New Year's Eve 2019, we had a great evening, delicious meals, the chapon was exceptionally tender and the moray sauce to fall asleep. Crab salmon sushi was delicious!!

It was a wonderful evening.

We stayed for a week in Gite No. 2, but took breakfasts in the main building. We love Erquy and have visited several times, but many years ago. The town has changed in the interim and there's a much wider choice of restaurants - that is if you're into seafood - but it's not too "touristy". The Relais' own restaurant serves a wider menu and the food is very good, if a little on the expensive side.

The Relais is out in the country, so is peaceful, but close to the town and it's very easy to get in. It's also close to a couple of supermarkets. The courtyard is a bit of a sun trap and, as the weather was generally glorious, it was good to sit out with a glass of wine and just read.

There's plenty to do in the surrounding area and, if you're into walking, the Cap d'Erquy is a must.

We would certainly come again.

A good choice.

The boss and his wife warmly welcomed us and we felt like they knew us and they gave us great, simple but fine food at home.
