We had 25 people so hired 4 cottages and a large room for communal cooking and eating. It was so easy to reach from Calais and everyone had a great weekend in peaceful surroundings but with easy access to Boulogne and other towns. The coast road from Calais to Boulogne is fantastic with a big market in Wissant right next to the sea. You need a car for lots of reasons including the lack of nearby shops, although bread can be delivered each morning. The Boutroys made us feel very welcome and for us it was so much better than trying to arrange something equivalent in the UK.
