This hotel is a hidden gem within easy walking distance of Eymet. The hospitality shown by the owners could not of been better. The rooms are clean and tidy and serviced every day on our week visit. The pool is lovely and well maintained in the glorious garden. We would definitely come back here again. 

Holiday

A family run hotel and restaurant. Rooms are simple, spacious and comfortable with great showers. Rooms have direct access to outside providing guests with freedom to come and go.
The restaurant provides quality food at reasonable prices. 
The family are friendly, helpful and welcoming giving guests space or providing advice on local activities when requested.
The location is out of town, nearly rural in setting, yet is an easy stroll to centre.
Eymet has a delightful Bastille, castle and a good selection of restaurants. It seemed to have a large expat population and was central to exploring the "Pays de Bergerac".

A good place to stop

We ate here originally because the restaurants in the town were all full but we're so glad we found this place. It is a hotel so you might not think to visit the restaurant but the number of locals dining there gives you a good clue. It is quiet and there is a lovely cool area under the tree, around which to dine. It doesn't pretend to be fancy but it is great, good value authentic Perigordian food and wonderful staff. Definitely worth a visit.

A gem of a place that could be overlooked

We have been coming to this restaurant over at least the past 12 years, and always
found the food good but not exciting - last night we were surprised and delighted with
the much more innovative food, and menu selection.  We were shown to the pretty courtyard where half a dozen tables were laid with nice settings.  In the evenings the menus start at €20 for 2 courses and €25 for 3 courses.  We had scallops in a tasty sauce with Thai rice (simply jasmin rice, not spicy), followed by émincé de magret de canard (duck breast cut into slices) with a pepper sauce, oyster mushrooms and sauté potatoes (fried dice of potatoes), Another choice was medallion of filet pork
with prunes/pepper sauce or roquefort cheese sauce.  The desserts were good.  We
didn't stay in the hotel because we just wanted to dine with our family.  We all agreed that the food and setting were excellent.  We will be going again.

Pleasant dining in the courtyard with family

Stayed here one night on the recommendation of Alex from Bergerac Wine Tours.
Clean, basic room which was fine for one night. Surprisingly nice swimming pool for such a small hotel and very pleasant and helpful staff.
Ate supper in the restaurant and had a very pleasant meal with excellent Gambas in a Provencal sauce. Again nothing fancy but good honest fare freshly cooked.
All very reasonably priced and value for money.

Good honest Perigord fare at a great price

This hotel was recommended to us by the tour guide from Bergerac Wine Tours. Lovely clean hotel, small and appeared family run. We ate in the restaurant which was a lovely BBQ out on the terrace. Very reasonably priced. Would stay here again if we were in the area!
