JC was welcoming from the moment of our arrival till we left the next day. He helped guide our car into the private area which is secured behind a gate, although i would have had no problem parking on the street as the property is in a very residential area. 
After showing us to our room he offered advice for some suggested locations to eat. The room was as you would expect, with beds that are quite soft. There's a balcony to sit out on. We were advised about mosquitoes but we're given a repellent to use in the room. There was also a fan provided which helped to keep the room cool as we had to shut the balcony door. The facilities were great with an en suite bathroom. Contrary to other comments, although there isn't a door, there is a heavy curtain which acts as a door to the bathroom.
The location is a bit out of the way but there are some restaurants and fast food outlets nearby. We weren't looking for anything fancy so we ate at a local venue for something quick and easy.
Breakfast was included and we were given a selection of pastries, home made preserves,  juice tea and coffee. 
Overall a great stay and very good value. Lovely host and family to stay with.


Overnight with daughter

I stayed here with my daughter for one night and we were absolutely.  delighted with the facilities and the friendly welcoming. The only downside is the check in time which could be earlier...6.00 pm is a bit late.

An absolute gem !

This place is just great! The house itself is a nice place styled like a Martinique house. The bedrooms are practical and comfortable. But what sets this place apart from others is the breakfast and the host. The breakfast is just super! Nice fresh baked bread every morning with self made jams and marmelade. Fresh fruits from the garden and well ... just great!

The host is a nice young guy who knows how to make you feel comfortable, who gives you good advice on where to eat out and who makes sure you feel welcome.

All in all super!

Super place to stay!!!

Had a wonderful stay here, this is a really lovely family bed and breakfast. The family really welcomed us and we're very helpful in every aspect! We stayed in the bungalow which had every thing we needed, small kitchenette with fridge and a lovely patio area to eat in the evening. Bathrobes and slippers we're provided in the room which was really lovely, and tea, coffee and a kettle. There are a few lovely restaurants near by, and a supermarket within walking distance. Very easy to get into the centre of Bordeaux the bus stop is two minutes away. And a bus stop nearby that takes you to Lacanau beach. Very central. Great pool, and lovely breakfast. Thank you so very much JC and your family for making us feel at home and for looking after us. We both had an amazing time. Would definitely come back! I would highly recommend this charming and lovely place. 

Lovely stay, stunning bed and breakfast

We had a very friendly welcome from JC and his mother,definitely the friendliest we experienced during our week in France. Breakfast was provided at a time of our choice and there was a lovely atmosphere. Drawbacks would be no teatowel in the kitchen(we stayed in the apartment), lack of handtowels and no air con but these are small things. Handy spot for accessing the airport also.
