Yes the rooms are a bit small and the place could be updated. However, the staff were very pleasant and efficient. Not in your face chasing corporate tripadvisor targets. The bed was very comfortable with clean and good quality sheets. The bathroom had a bath with hand held shower attachment. Nice quality shower gel. The bed was very comfortable and everyone in our party slept very well. The breakfast was good with lovely croissants and fresh fruits. Evening meal is as good as any restaurant. On the downside, it is almost impossible to get a taxi from the hotel to the town but that is not their fault. The place they recommend for dinner was excellent. The garden could do with a tidy as the grass has grown over the cobbles but if you want a quiet and relaxing place to stay then this is a good place to stay for a few days.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, pleasant staff and peaceful location

Afetr 21 years I came back to this hotel , and the location on the falaise of Fecamp is really emotioning .
Behind the hotel there is a view of the village and the seaside really nice . 
The rooms need to be refreshed and the claning is not the maximum , however the service is nice and the people kind and available to help guests . 
Very good the restaurant and the location is in the middle of silence.

Fantastic location

If you don't stay too long and do not expect 4 stars service and room quality, do it.
Location is splendid, breakfast offer in terms of quality is good, our bedroom was not meeting average standards in terms of modernity but bed was confortable and view from the room superb.
Pool water is cold, so...only for the bravest!

Very nice location

The location of the hotel is excellent, the views from the cliff top behind the hotel are spectacular.   Unfortunately the hotel does not live up to the description on the website, we had a 4 person studio which to say was in need of modernization is an understatement.  The room was dirty, the beds were very uncomfortable and sagged in the middle, the bobbly blankets on them had definitely seen better days, and felt damp. The bathroom was horrible, the tiles had black mould, the flooring was coming up and the door would not close, wash basin, bath or toilet needed a very good clean.  The toiletries provided was a small bar of soap!  The kitchenette did not work at all and the glasses, plates etc were very dusty.

Location is excellent

Very odd hotel, not really a hotel at all, more like a motel.  The building sits atop the hill in Fecamp with spectacular views from the grounds around the hotel; and the little chapel next door is fascinating.  However, you can't attribute these wonderful views and location to the hotel itself.  There were no facilities.  None.  No minibar, nowhere to get a coffee or drink, not even a bottle of water in the room and the nearest café/bar was a drive away, unless you had remembered your chalk bag, climbing shoes and carabiners.  There is a restaurant but it was closed, probably not a bad thing, under the circumstances. The room was really weird and not comfortable at all.  The double bed looked large at first but it was actually two singles put together.  They were ancient and incredibly uncomfortable with a well-worn dip in the middle of each one that made it feel like you were trying to sleep in a hammock.  No duvet just a hideous gold bedspread and a blue bobbly blanket - yuk! I was hoping for peace as you really are in the middle of nowhere (in a good way!)  Sadly this was not the case.  We had a ground floor room; it seemed that every water pipe that carried water from every room in the hotel rushed down the pipes hidden behind walls in our room - it was really noisy and very odd.  Also there was a room above us with the squeakiest floorboards ever that was also really disturbing.  The bathroom was really big with a huge walk in shower which was alright. The free wifi was handy in the wee small hours to entertain me when I couldn't sleep.  Wifi was also useful to look up species of spiders to try to identify one of the several that happily and comfortably inhabited the room in the colossal webs hanging above the bed. The whole place felt very uncomfortable, unloved, uncared for and just really odd.  At £75 for the night it was way overpriced.  I have paid far less for much better.  Would not stay here again and could not possibly recommend it.  We stayed in 6 hotels in France on a road trip - this was our final one and most definitely our least favourite.  By a bouchon filled French mile (or kilometer).
