We booked Pozzo through hotels.com about 7:00 pm for the same night.  We had car issues and had to be closer to the airport for an early morning flight.  We arrived about 10:00 pm, no one was in reception but we finally found someone in the restaurant.  We were shown to a truly horrible room--to get to the toilet you had to turn sideways and wiggle past a glass sink, cats kept running into the room if the door was open for any reason (my husband is highly allergic) and many other issues.  When we left the next morning we had to sign yet another receipt for full payment for the room.  Our credit card has been billed from hotels.com AND Pozzo Mastri.  When we have attempted to contact them they have ignored our emails twice.  This is NOT a $200 room.  BEWARE!

Double charged for a horrible room

We stopped at this place for dinner (by chance) and had a really lovely culinary experience. The food was just great, from start to dessert. Vegetables from the garden, a great selection of local cheeses and homemade fig jam were amazing. We thought the best part was the location itself, a typical Corsican country house. Maybe next time we’ll come for staying at one of the rooms of this lovely place!

Really beautiful setting

This place is just a basic Auberge. The rooms are quite spacious but slightly run down. Be prepared to bring some of your own food because their restaurant is the only option nearby (that you could reach without a car) and it's rather on the expensive side.

Basic

Internet did not work, the room did not have hairdryer, no soap, no place to hang swimsuits, they have a small shops with prices which are double if not triple the price of normal shops or supermarket (for the exact SAME wines). These people are crazy. Better to choose anotHer location.

Too expensive for what it offers. Terrible experience.

I made a booking for a group in September 2015 and would never book there again. 
Until we have paid the deposit, the person I was dealing with was delightful but things changed when the deposit was made, bad communication and it got worst when my clients checked in. 
I had requested 4 twin rooms and 2 singles rooms (we had spoken about it on the phone as well as by email and made sure the 4 rooms were twins not double) but of course when they arrived one room had a double bed, no hot water, no air-con and no windows !
I should have been warned and we would have made arrangement but the owner thought lying was a better option !
When I found out about it, I called in order to make an arrangement, the man was very rude on the phone and told me that he offered ONE bottle of wine and thought it was enough (Have I mention that the group consisted of 10 ladies - they were blown away by this very generous act !).
Some business owners just don't understand how to run a business and unfortunately this place is the perfect exemple.

Do yourself a favour  and avoid this place

Room was appalling. No hot water, no bed side  light, no air conditioning and not fit for occupation

The staff were not at all  helpful in trying to sort out the issues. Airline pilots seemed to have priority on the rooms and we were not able to change rooms

The spa was a dusty tub in a paddock and the horse riding consisted of two small donkeys. One of our group was a keen horse rider and was very disappointed

The massage table was dusty and obviously had not been used for a long time.

Credit cards were not accepted and our group had to find the cash to pay for the accommodation. However they did suggest we could do the short walk into the village to use the cash machine if we could not raise the money. 

The marketing around this property was absolutely misleading

The meals however were excellent
