We had not booked a room and were pleased that the hotel was able to accommodate us at short notice. Our room was large with a good sized bathroom and very comfortable. We were disappointed that we were unable to dine at the restaurant - I had assumed that tables would be available for hotel guests. We had had a long day and did not want to have to find somewhere else, and the hotel was unable to offer any alternative eating places. We eventually found another resaurant and had one of the best meals of our holiday. I would rfecommend booking ahead if you wnat to stay & eat at this hotel.
Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful. Florac is a beautiful village and I'd love to return to explore more.

Comfortable hotel

We spent one night in Florac at the start of a road trip in the South of France.  Whilst research told us there was a restaurant in the hotel, when we arrived it was closed.  We walked into the town for dinner and had a stroll around.  We were given a very large but strangely configured room which was very quiet and comfortable. Hotel served a standard breakfast in the dining room. Good value for money.

Hotel well located in the city centre close to shops and restaurants. Very nice tree-lined park. Moderate interior decoration. Clean and spacious room spacious. Parking inside the hotel. Efficient accommodation. We couldn't test the restaurant (closed). Generous and varied breakfast. Attention the hotel is closed in winter (October-April).

A room manager has made three inappropriate and disrespectful remarks to a member of our group, insulting from a hotel manager who thinks he's above the basket on Florac.

Disrespect for the Client

It's a hotel that has a great experience. Not everything is optimized but it's spacious and comfortable. The bed is good but noisy, there's a nice swimming pool, breakfast is good and at a good price.

The Benefit of the Elder

Very nice place, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The only real bemol: the sound insulation of the rooms is really zero. A roommate woke up earlier than we are.

It's a good place.

Efficient waitresses and the selected food were of high quality. It was not gastronomic but more than honest about the cost of the menus. We were on the terrace. I knew the former owner. The restaurant was full and the customers seemed satisfied.

It was a great evening.

Very old hotel, very hot, very noisy, the boss tells me it's exceptional, exceptional??? a joke I think, we hardly slept through the night and we won't be back.

never again

We had booked for two nights at the hotel at the end of our hike. The reception of the director is not worthy of a tourist establishment. But it is not the most serious. We booked at the restaurant for the same evening. Not luckily, the hotel had also given RV to a group of about thirty people who were staying in a room adjacent to the terrace. Consequence: a lot of noise, but above all an endless wait between people (the kitchen was not followed...in the afternoon due to a lack of staff). We booked at 2:30 for a next entrance, a plate and a dessert (at the request of the kitchen).

Courage... let's get out of here!

The hotel is old, seems like it stayed on from the 80s, except for the shower. Just the shows, not the rest of the bathroom.

Service was adequate and the hotel was clean and well taken care of. We stayed for two nights with a group and also had our meals and a very good and abundant picnic bag for one day trip.

I recommend it for what it is: a local hotel that serves it purpose with. certain dignity and efficiency.
