Visited with my son for a week, enjoyed immensely! The charm and ambience of the old chateau was unforgettable, and the hosts gracious and super-friendly. Excellent location in the middle of the Normandy peninsula provides easy access to plenty of landmarks, including restaurants, beaches, churches, D-day museums, etc. More added value is Denis's expert guidance on freshest local seafood, gourmet cheeses and calvados.

Authentic and warm

Dennis, the owner, is courteous and hospitable. The castle is decaying. Good breakfast, magdaleines and cider on arrival. But the pains arrive in the room. The bathroom has a floor of fabric that annihilates, the shirt blanket stretches you out. The temperature is uncertain and I slept dressed like in Ladakh. For 40€ a couple, I need to accept but I wouldn't go For 80€ I ran away after the first night.

I'm not going without a renovation.

Super welcome from the landlord and his quiet wife in the cottage. All homeowner comfort always available and a real well of science on many subjects than compliments for this French and Christian stay.

We spent two very pleasant days in an authentic setting. The host and his wife were very friendly and welcomed us carefully. Many interesting explanations about the history of the area are provided.

The Chateau need  some Tlc in places but with the help of Dennis the Count we had a very enjoyable stay.We were made very welcome and I would recommend a stay in the 
Chateau to visitors to Normandy.There's many good restaurants within 15 minutes drive.

A real experiences to stay in a 200 year old building

The host team headed by Dennis is very attentive, friendly and close-knit.In addition, he speaks very well English and is always willing to give advice or any other kind of offer.The location of the castle is of genuine luxury, with a few gardens and a pond that most of the rooms offer, which by the way, are spacious and comfortable.I highly recommend this option of quiet accommodation, strategic location close to points of interest and the breathing environment that seems out of date.Neither is it worth worrying about the appearance of some ghost, because, if there is one, it is benign, or rather, benign.

The service, great the owners are very nice! accommodation for a drink, detailed explanation of all the possible visits to the beach very good bed, and a nice breakfast!!!!! we will go back there

My wife and I along with our son and daughter in law spent three nights at the Chateau des poteries. Our stay was unforgettable. Denis Coepel was a gracious host. The Chateau was in a perfect rural setting and gave us a taste of the French country side and life of long ago. To experience real Normandy we highly recommend it. A great time with Denis and Tania. The place is lost in nature, and it deserves it (GPSs are sometimes tacky...). Large spacious rooms (four I think it is) in a rural and quiet environment in a small castle that has kept all its charm and remains in its juice. Stunning views of the pond and garden for two of the rooms.

Perfect Escape

A beautiful castle with spacious rooms, period furniture, clocks everywhere, a perfect reception and breakfast that can keep you busy all day long, a motorcycle shelter which is very much appreciated in Normandy, and two steps from the beaches to the landing is an address to keep.
