This was the fourth time we have visited Domaine De Perches. Always so welcoming. Amazing meals, beautifully presented. The area around has so much to offer. Always a pleasure seeing Alain & Howard, this stay we met Anna wonderful person and so helpful. Will definitely be back another year 🙏

Wonderful 🤩

What an amazing unique stay this was. A last minute flight cancellation led me and my partner on a short train journey from Toulouse to the welcoming hands of these amazing hosts.  Alain and Howard were even kind enough to order electric bikes for us to travel around to close by towns and vineyards. Jaw dropping scenery on the door step and Howard’s amazing food just topped this trip off. Can’t wait to return. Thank you both!

Tranquility at its best

Stayed here for the second time and couldn’t get over the magnificence of the restoration and fitting out of this wonderful old winery. 
It is such a beautiful and special place I would be tempted to tell no one about it and certainly not advertise its charms on Tripadvisor. 
However, Alain, Howard and Anna are so engaging, attentive and hard working that I feel honour bound to give this review (I don’t do many).  There are very very few places that combine the special qualities of accommodation, setting and service that Dom. Perches offers.

Amazing place, property and people

We had the good fortune to stay two nights at Domaine Perches in June and it is our new favorite place in the world.  The inn is truly breathtaking and Alain and Howard are the kindest, most engaging hosts.  Their rooms, salons, poolside, and terrace are gorgeous, quiet, and very convenient for touring Albi or the many hilltop village that surround the area.  Our hosts felt like lifetime friends who cooked us fabulous meals and enjoyed sharing their home with us.    Do yourself a favor - don't look elsewhere.

Our New Favorite Inn - and Hosts!

We spent a thoroughly enjoyable week at Domaine de Perches with our two teenage daughters. Howard and Alain were wonderful and welcoming hosts, with really helpful recommendations for places to visit. We had dinner at the house a few times and each time it was exceptionally good, as was breakfast each day! As Alain explained, the vibe they are aiming for is of house guests rather than hotel, and they succeed in this as we felt like very welcome friends rather than paying guests. 
We thoroughly recommend a stay at the beautiful Domaine de Perches and really hope we can return one day!

A relaxing week in wonderful surroundings

We had a completely enchanting 3 night stay at Le Domaine de Perches. Our room was a two-room comfortable suite with large windows that opened onto a view of vineyards and the hills beyond. We woke to the sound of birds in the morning before heading off to breakfast which included, among many delicious items, freshly, homemade croissants!!!  We took dinner at Le Domaine de Perches two nights.  It was a pleasure to chat with other guests and the multi-course menu was excellent. The bed was really comfortable and it was really nice to be able to pull up a chair in front of the french doors and read with a view.  Le Domaine is out in the vineyard country and in an excellent location for driving around to various historic hilltowns that dot the hills north of Toulouse. We'd highly recommend Le Domaine. But definitely stay for more than one night, take time to slow down a little bit, and be sure to eat at least one dinner there.

Comfortable Enchantment

We had difficulty finding it but when we did, WOW what a beautiful place and Alain and Howard are so proud of it , they have obviously worked very hard to reach such a high standard. We had a really lovely stay here and met some very nice people in the process. The dinner was beautifully cooked and served as was the breakfast. We had a nice room with a great shower, the bed was comfortable, our hosts were very informative and interesting. The pool was lovely and we made use of that. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent

We have stayed for 3 days in this very charming and luxurious table d’ hote. The owners, Alain and Howard, are very very kind and are doing everything to make you feel at home. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly come back next year. A beautiful spot with wonderfull views of the countryside.

Fantastic, very welcoming, amazing house, very friendly owners.

Staying at Le Domaine de Perches was like being with old friends even though we had just met Alain and Howard. Their home is superb and their hospitality faultless. This is a truly beautiful and serene place to stay. The restoration and attention to detail is divine and the pool was so welcome in a week of extreme heat. Dining with the other guests at night was also enjoyable, the 4 courses with wine was delicious and beautifully presented, Howard is a wonderful cook. Thank you Alain, Howard and Helene for ensuring our stay with you was relaxing and memorable. See you next year.

Perfection in Gaillac

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt like special guests of the owners Alain and Howard - such warm, genuine, caring people to whom looking after us seemed to be a real pleasure.
The property cannot be described in words - suffice it to say that we think it is a remarkable house and the quality of the restoration that Alain and Howard have carried out is absolutely superb.
Our large, airy bedroom had far-reaching views over the pool and the vineyard and it was so comfortable in every way.
Breakfast was a joy an abundance of fresh local produce - the home-made organic yoghurt was a delight. All served with delicious coffee in a lovely alfresco setting.
Dinner was quite simply outstanding - each course cooked to perfection and accompanied by delicious local wines.
Spending time relaxing here was so easy - but when we wanted to explore we had expert advice from Alain about villages, markets and restaurants. We dined at two of their recommended bistros and they were both superb. Alain even drove us to Gaillac for dinner and picked us up at the end of the evening at a modest charge.
The location of Domaine des Perches is in itself outstanding and it is within easy reach of Gaillac as well as a host of delightful smaller villages.

We have found a real gem here and, like many previous guests, we have promised to return.......and we will.
