The place has a good restaurant.  The owner is very friendly.  It is well located to tour Monet's home and gardens.  Our bedroom was a nice size and the bathroom had recently been renovated.  While not "fancy," I would recommend staying here.

Le Petit Giverny is a quaint spot

Well located on the main road through Giverny and close to Monets Garden. Pleasant to sit in the garden bar and had a good supper in the grill as well. Rooms are small and slightly tired with traditional decor but good for a stopover. The owner was pleasant and welcoming

Convenient and pleasant

As part of a plan to see the museum and moving on to Versailles or elsewhere, it is a fun, friendly place, more like a restaurant with rooms, than a hotel. But if you seek a  reasonable, unpretentious place to stay, 5 min walk from the Monet Foundation and impressionist museum then it may be perfect.

Great for a stop over

We had a very comfortable night here and found everyone so friendly, helpful and hospitable. Beautiful room and bathroom with toiletries all provided. We ate delicious brochettes cooked over a wood fire for our evening meal and enjoyed a lovely breakfast the next morning that reminded me of France years ago (see photo). We were given postcards to write which we could leave for postage back home which we thought was a lovely touch. Thank you for a great stay!

One night for Monet’s garden

Hosts are absolutely charming!  Location can’t be beat. Restaurant with open fire grill, exceptional dinner with charm and no pretense. Walking distance to gardens and museum, onsite parking a plus. Stay overnight in charming rooms and beat the crowds into the gardens. Visitor’s center is right next door. 

Charming and friendly!!

What a great stop on our way to the Monet gardens.  The wait staff which I think were actually the owner and family members were friendly and helpful.  

 They had wonderful grilled kebabs.  Good variety of beef or chicken. With grilled tomatoes peppers and pears. Interestingly a grill type restaurant with amazing flavors.

 You must leave room for dessert They had amazing apple pie. 

Cute family restaurant 

The perfect 24 hour stop on the way back to CDG from the beaches of Normandy.  Le Petit Giverny is a gem of a small boutique hotel. Situated very close to the Monet Foundation Museum and Gardens it could not have been better for our short stay. Room was remarkable, updated ensuite bathroom was a plus. We checked in late and still got treated to a delicious home cooked dinner expertly prepared on their wood fired grill. If you are planning of visiting Giverny, count yourself lucky to get a room at the Le Petite Giverny - you will be very happy that you stayed there.

Nothing not to like. Free WiFi, best parking in town, beautiful gardens, and outdoor dining. Friendly and accommodating owner and staff. Will hope to stay there again soon.
