The worst experience!! First we had to argue about a suitable parking spot . Then I had to wash all the dishes in the cabinets since they smelled like fungus, my guess the people prior to us had put them away wet.Next day woke up to tons of ants all over the cabin, including our clothe and inside our empty suitcases. They came to spray poison and were told not to be back for hours do to the poison which was ok for us. 3rd day we had no power to the cabin. Found out that the previous “suitable parking space “ was also crawling with ants which made their way INTO the car. This how ever I was told is non of their concern so I went and got some raid to kill ‘em my self . After that I parked right next to our cabin . Free open spot ! 2 days later a man comes knowing at our door very aggressive and yelled at me something in French , i had told him I don’t speak nor understand French which made him louder and more aggressive. I said he needs to talk to the receptionist so some one can explain what he wants , he was so ignorant and just yelled “car here “ I will attach pictures how I was forced to park by him. After I called the reception and asked for someone to come up who speaks English. Well she came showed me yet again a different parking spot I could park at. Since my car was out on the street I had said since I was force by the man to park here every damage to my car is on them , which was also denied it would be my problem. we will for sure never come back to camping le mas. The area around here is beautiful and worth visiting just not with camping le mas. Don’t waste your precious money.

Never again

We stayed with the kids at Camping Le Mas in a caravan, rented from the property. The reception was good but a bit more explanation about how things work (Electricity in the unit) would be nice.

Trailer was nice and clean with nice deck with chairs and table. Plenty of shade which is usefull in the South of France! Nice pool with chairs, in the morning some activity (watergym, animation, ...) Not our thing but nice to watch people working out while enjoying my time off. 

Nice, small beach is located only 5 minute walk from the campsite. In the campsite there is a shop, bar, restaurant with limited choice.

Downside for us was the noise until late at night, sometimes well after midnight. People walking back from the bar, standing in the road, making lots of noise. Sad there is no time at night that it has to be quiet so people can sleep actually...

Lots of campgrounds have a time at night when people have to be silent. Not here...

We will not go there again, only for that reason.

12 day stay - Too noisy at night

Great location such a shame about staff condition of place and pool area booked 2 weeks but if flight available would have flown home they put me and family in an old dated chalet only moved us when I took pictures of the place dirty floor rotting wood damaged electrics told us it was ready for changing then once we moved put someone else in laughable couldn’t tell who was straddle as no one wore uniform or t shirts pool area is dated and feet are shredded as sharp stoned finish pool is full of hairs and grease these people need lessons in decorum could go on about prices limited menu but if I could put one family off then I have saved them wasting a lot of money do not go hear 3 of us came down with ear infection

Le mess

This is a fantastic campsite but could be so much better. No evening entertainment is a mystery. It has everything else. A beautiful beach on your doorstep. Helpful, friendly and accommodating staff. Clean shower and toilet blocks. All of which combine to make the annoying aspects less prominent – particularly the fact that they really pack in as many as they can to this site, so if you are towing a caravan you face a pretty tough job of getting through the narrow turnings. 

If you are camping (ie in a caravan or tent) - you will need to deal with the ants that are rampant on the site. I spent the best part of 50 Euro on anti ant powder and sprays and it was all used. Every last drop. If you don't you will be overrun. The site are well aware of this problem but do not offer help unless you ask. 

So in summary if you’re after a four star stay with beach and a beautiful pool on tap, then this is for you. If however you are after a family holiday with plenty to do in the evenings, it really isn’t. 

It’s worth however reemphasising the praise for staff – they were great at every turn. You would be well looked after at this site if you do decide to come.

Beautiful site, not much for kids

Me and my friends stayed at the campsite for 3 night. The employees at the reception were very kind. They did not speak English very well but tried to help us as good as possible. The campsites are on a hill on a rock ground which is a great experience. 

The swimming pool was not good at all. We were not allowed to swim because swim shorts are forbidden in the swimming pool. 

The sea is really close. The beach is made of sand which is nice, especially if it is not windy. You can go out to the beach at night to watch the sunset which is also great. 

The camping store is pretty expensive but there is no alternative nearby. A supermarket is a 20 minutes drive. 

Overall a nice camping. 



Road trip

We stayed here in the off peak season and it was very quiet and lovely. The cabin was clean and basic, staff very helpful. The beach outside the park was beautiful and there are lots of lovely walks along the cliffs. It was an easy train ride from town into Marseille. The grounds of the park were a little run down.
