After awful stay in Port Grimaud my husband and I trawled the internet for more suitable accommodation, after 5hrs of deliberating we settled on this, exhausted and having had no sleep we arrived here at 7am, the staff at the site let us in and gave us a map and told us we were welcome to make ourselves comfortable until our check in. We had breakfast at their beach restaurant and enjoyed the sunrise. When we checked in (930am) far too early the girl who knew we had a terrible night said she would get us in as quick as possible and made everything run very easy for us! We brought beach floats and headed to the sea! And by 12ish she called us to say our villa was ready and we need not go back to the office the key was on the table. Perfect! It was just what we needed and the best place to be in st tropez bay! 
The actual resort itself is great! The spa is a nice thing to do for a small extra charge. The main restaurant doesn't take bookings however we arrived at 830pm left our name and by 9pm we had a table so not too bad! Very tasty food especially the tuna and salmon assiette, great to share for starter!
Slightly disappointed in the kids/teen clubs, we enquired with the email added but had no response. Went to the mapped kids zone place to be told it was on the beech, we looked but couldn't see anything and gave up! This needs to be more informative and better organised. If I was staying longer I would have wanted to make full use of this! My kids were disappointed they missed out though! 
One other note is that BJ rentals could have let us know before we tried to leave that we had to clean floors, units, windows etc, this would have saved us running back to clean it in the heat, where as we could have done part of it the night before! 
Overall we loved it and are looking to return next year! 

Amazing resort! 

This is our second visit to BJ Riviera, but my partner has been coming here for over 20 years.  The staff are great and will do anything to make your stay more comfortable, we arrived at an odd time of day due to our flights but we were catered for..  including a nice cold beer upon check in! We asked for a lodge in a sunny position and our request was well catered for, with our patio getting lovely bright sunshine all afternoon.  The lodge was clean and pretty well appointed - i was expecting an oven but this time didn't get one, but no worries we just worked around it. On a slight negative point the bed and pillows weren't all that comfortable - but i guess this might be a personal preference thing (there's nothing like your own pillow!)
The Praries de la mer sight as a whole is really good and well thought out, with good amenities like shops, bars, takeaways and restaurants etc. and of course its proximity to the beach!
Also, although nothing to do with BJ Riviera the site wifi is fairly useless and not worth paying for.  Stick with your own 4G.
To sum up we had a wonderful time here, its great to stay and also a good base for visiting wonderful places in this part of France, like St Tropez, Monaco, St Maxime etc. We'll be coming back next year :-)

Great stay, wonderful staff, nice accomodation.

We stayed for 6 nights had a nice clean mobile home. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had problem getting hot water one day, we reported it and the repair man was there within 5 minutes, very impressed. We feel that BJ Riviera was great value and in perfect locations on park. Would def use them again. Thanks for giving us a great holiday.

Nice mobiles

I stayed here with friends and have visited praires de la mer for over four years but this was the worst mobile I have stayed in ,It was situated on a noisy through road the exterior was tatty and the interior was ok but with poor utensils would not stay here again will book with best holiday next year.

Not the best

We booked our garden Lodge with B.J. Riviera Holidays on the strength of previous reviews on this Website. We find it hard to believe we used the same Company.
We arrived a few minutes to 1600hrs on the 12th September 2015, to be told by the French receptionist that our accommodation would not be ready for an hour or so.
We explained that we had arrived by motorcycle & had encountered heavy rain, we were wet & now melting in the humid heat & it was unacceptable that we would not be getting our accommodation at the contracted time.
Her reply was "They have over 60 homes & only five girls to clean them, they cannot all be ready by 4. o-clock."
I stated that if five girls cannot cope they should get six.
She immediately became verbally aggressive but eventually agreed to give us alternative  accommodation.
I then asked if it was the same as we had booked as we specifically wanted the covered decking.
Her reply being "They are all the same in that row, take it or leave it."
We cannot see what the issue was as the Lodge we had originally been allocated was clearly visible & was not occupied until after 1800 hrs.
Our Lodge was generally well worn, the kitchen floor covering had been damaged & was stapled together, the kitchen table was rickety, the sunbeds were so dirty they could not be used, 2 of the bottom safety rails on the decking were missing leaving exposed nails protruding, in addition several items of crockery & glassware were chipped or cracked.
We reported the damaged crockery & glasses the following day, pus the fact that the television did not work.
No apology was given, nor an offer to replace the damaged items, however it was confirmed that we would not have the cost deducted from our deposit.
We were told there was a general site fault with televisions due to heavy rain, a maintenance man checked ours on the Monday, although our neighbours had a television signal ours was not repaired until the Friday evening when it was found we had a lose connection at the rear of the set.
We cannot speak highly enough of the actual complex, just be careful who you rent your accommodation from.
