A great little find for February when a lot of French campsites are closed.
Free range (safe!) goats and cats all add to the natural feel of this site.
Anne on reception is very friendly and helpful. Facilities are basic but all you need. Laundry facilities, good showers and loos in a warm block. Plenty of space and a few minutes from a supermarket.
Would stay again, even in February it was a great place to stay.

Excellent, off the beaten track site

This is the 2nd time we have been and was looking forward to it but when we got there we were out in pitch no 6 this is by the play area no problem but while we were having food the children kept running through our pitch we asked them not to but then they came with bikes. We asked at reception to sort it out and was it a official pitch they said yes but did nothing about it so for 2 days we had adults and children walking  and running through even one adult had to duct to get past the window if our motor home again we complained but just a shrug of shoulder so never again for this campsite 

Pitch no 6

We stopped here overnight en route to Roscoff from the Dordogne.
Really pretty small campsite only about a mile or so  from the motorway . Nice level pitches and a friendly goat and chicken wandering around .
Although the restaurant was closed for the season we found a pizza kiosk a few hundred yards away in the local supermarket car park which did pretty good pizzas. 
Lady in reception was really helpful and friendly .
Toilets and showers were clean .
We plan on going back next time we are travelling through and have no hesitation recommending this lovely site .

Lovely site . Great for a  stopover or longer stay

We always stop over at this lovely campsite when we are either heading home to the UK or travelling to Spain for our holidays. On this occasion we unfortunately had a mechanical problem with our car. Anne at reception was her normal gracious self by recommending and communicating with a local garage to repair the problem. An overnight stop turned into 5 nights as parts had to be flown out from the UK
Again Anne was so helpful in being a go between re the language barrier. If you're ever in the area and looking for a quiet getaway I can't recommend this lovely campsite highly enough 

Beyond helpful 

I have been camping around europe for many years seeing me and my family in many many campsites which we have had mixed feelings for but having recently stopped over in Camping Pindiere we couldnt find any faults.Although there was no onsite entertainment and the campsite was small in compared to many we have stayed in it made up with the perfect pitch and food.The grass pitch was level and the area was really private where you felt comfortable,the swimming pool was indoors with a nice temperature and the food was a 10 out of ten 😁 And of course the hosts 
were very accommodating.. Mabe the site is not for a long stay for some but for us as a stop over while travelling to spain it was perfect.personally i give the site a 10 out of ten.

One of the best campsites ever visited

First visit arriving with four other couples from Cherbourg. We arrived on fumes and were delighted to find an Hyper U Supermarket  just down the road. Lovely staff, bread and croissants available in the morning and a bar too. We’ll use it again and again.

A great overnighter

The perfect stop over for a long or a short stay. Very large pitches to accommodate the biggest of caravans. Excellent spoken  English by the lovely lady in reception. She couldn't have been more helpful. It's certainly one we'll return to for hopefully longer next time 

Excellent site 

Great campsite with large pitches with shade or not. Owners are very helpful with information on walks and cycle routes in the area. Close to a large supermarket.
Close to a river and canal .Heric has a very nice boulangerie with delicious cakes

Helpful Friendly Owners

Stayed at this site twice in the last month to and from the South of France.  Both times we were warmly welcomed and helped with a late arrival.  Anne is a lovely host and the site is just perfect.  Hope to go back for longer in the summer months.  

Warm welcome

We used this site on our way to Royan from Cherbourg and on our return.  We were towing a caravan so it took about 3.5 hours from Cherbourg.  Great situation just a mile or so from the motorway.  The pitches were a very good size bounded by hedges.  Toilets and showers were all clean and good, modern washing facilities were available.  My children loved the pool and the wi-fi.  The bar and restaurant was simple but very good - probably the best steak I had in France - at last a chef who understood 'medium'!  Highlight has to be your host Anne who could not be more helpful and will even give you tips on your French.  Truthfully wish we could have stayed for longer!
