We had a very spacious ensuite bedroom.
The host was very welcoming and even contacted the local restaurant on our behalf and reserved a table for us as we were a little late arriving.
The views from the property are amazing and the nearby village is very pretty.
We enjoyed the breakfast very much too.
Will definitely recommend to friends and family and will hopefully return ourselves.

Great B&B with stunning view and very welcoming host.

We stayed at this wonderful peaceful guest house on our way to the Alps and also on our way home to Yorkshire. A very warm welcome awaits everyone as we were. Lovely warm friendly hosts  who gave us advice on the local area such as shops and where to eat in the lovely local town of Hermanville. Just a side note. The pizza place in Hermanville is excellent as is the main restaurant. 

The rooms in the guesthouse are well appointed,welcoming, cosy and warm. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious. I couldn’t fault the place or our hosts who couldn’t do enough. 5 stars all round. 

Stop over on the way to the Alps

We arrived earlier than scheduled but received a warm welcome. The room was a comfortable room for 3 in what I imagine would be splendid vineyards on a beautiful hillside  but unfortunately in winter it was too dark to really appreciate the setting. My only gripe why not 5 stars was that a guest upstairs walked around until 1.00am keeping us awake from the noise from  the floorboards. I'm not sure why anyone feels the need to walk around at that time but each to their own. We left really early in the morning to set off on a long drive and the owner had left some breakfast out for us to take on our travels so very much appreciated. 

A late one night stop on way to the alps

We decided to break our journey from Eurotunnel to the Alps, approx. 3hrs from tunnel to Hermonville (just north of Reims) and stayed at Domaine Des Grattieres, a family home with beautiful views and off the main track – very welcoming, clean, quiet and private with comfortable beds. The room had a double bed and a single for our little child in an alcove, with a huge en suite bathroom, ideal for a family. We had lots of luggage as were going skiing, but as it’s so remote happily left everything in the van outside with no worries to get off to an early start in the morning. Although it’s worth saying if you stay anywhere in the region about march/April there seems to be masses of ladybirds who will join you in your room if you open a window (or not even) this was also the case where we stayed on the way back. They didn't bother us though! 
Breakfast was very pleasant, the whole place clean and tastefully decorated. Good value we thought. I would agree with a previous reviewer that a sign at the end of the drive would be great after a long journey, as missing the turning in the dark could have been avoided!

perfect stop over on the way to the alps!

The view is beautiful as the property sits on a hill looking over the fields outside of Hermonville. Stayed in the 1st floor bedroom. Plenty of room and very clean and modern accommodations. Christelle and Pascal are very helpful. Pascal speaks good English but you need your French to converse with Christelle. She puts on an excellent breakfast of breads, jams, cold cereal, yogurt, cold meats and cheese and juices. Previous reviewer noted pizza place in Hermonville, which is called Picollos Pizza and is an excellent place to eat. One thing to be careful of is leaving the premises in your car be careful as the driveway is somewhat hidden and you are on an uphill grade as you come out on the road. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
