We’ve lost count of how many times we have stayed here.  The hotel is easy to find with ample free parking.  We were able to park our motorcycles in the garage.  The hotel is in a lovely location and has fabulous views of the mountains.  Henri and his wife are fabulous hosts and immediately make you feel welcome.  The rooms are very large, clean, comfortable and well appointed.  It is also very quiet and peaceful.  Henri is a talented chef and the food is amazing.  This is a fantastic place to stay in the Vosges.

Half pension: enough choice for breakfast, nice evening meals with local touch. Friendly service and atmosphere. And a 'room with a view' on the valley. Since you have to take the car anyway to visit several spots, it didn't bother us that' the hotel is a bit our of a city center.

This hotel is in a great location high up in the Munster valley.  There are fabulous views in every direction.  Henri and his family are excellent hosts.  There is ample parking and very motorcycle friendly.  The rooms are very large, clean, comfortable and well appointed.  The food is very good.

Back to Hotel Roess for a quality weekend in Les Vosges. Family hotel with great views, ample rooms, very nice breakfast, friendly staff, silence, calm, close to the main attractions... a home away from home.

A home away from home

Our second stay at this fabulous hotel and it definitely won't be our last.  The hotel sits high in the valley and enjoys fabulous views.  The owners are very welcoming and you feel part of the family.  The rooms are very big and well appointed.  The food is excellent and fantastic value for money.  Thank you Henri, we look forward to our next trip.

Fantastic hotel, great value, great views and very friendly owners.

This hotel turned out to be a great discovery for our Winter escapades to Les Vosges. The hotel is mid way up in the Valley of Munster, close to the main attractions but outside the typical touristic concentrations, and manages to preserve a very nice mountain auberge style with ample rooms and a great family service. We especially enjoyed the views and the breakfast (great croissant and eggs). This is a place to relax while having eveywhere in the valley of Munster very much at hand, only a short drive away.

The view from this hotel is tremendous.  The staff are very attentive and speak good English.  The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.  The food is of a very good quality.  This hotel is situated in a great location for exploring the Vosges.

Our 1st stay in the Vosges and it won't be our last at this hotel.
