The first impression before the gate opens makes you a little muddy. But behind the gate there is a jewelry. We had a very generous very nice room with balcony. A very friendly reception with valuable tips for our stay. Parking is perfect. The city is well within 10 minutes' walk. The breakfast was unfortunately out of stock. But very good and the early morning unplanned excursion to the city centre was nevertheless worth it. We are happy to come back.

Recommended B&B

If the house scared us from the outside, our opinion has changed dramatically by going through the doorstep. This villa is being restored in a chic and modern country style with very good taste. The rooms are spacious, quiet and very clean. It would be nice to have a tooth glass. The boss is very nice, smiling and good advice

Nice and quiet.

My husband and I booked two nights in this establishment (we paid 362 €), but we only stayed one night, even if we had paid for both. The dirt and dirt are the main features of this establishment.

Dust and dirt, a place to avoid!

This house will be superb once renovated. Very friendly home. Very large room. Too bad the housekeeping is not done. Dustful on the bottom table, breadcrumbs (?) on the floor and chairs. Crying crutches. Spider webs. Renovation can rhyme cleanly. The quality/price ratio is not there.

Beautiful home in the process of renovation

Perfect place to stay for our night stop over in Honfleur. We drove from south west France, received a text message from Villa Ariane with a number to call on arrival so they could open the security gate. We were greeted by the owner who also spoke great English who showed us around and took us to our room. Nothing was too much trouble. The building although still having some slight renovations till complete is full of charm and character. Beautiful room with a balcony.  We walked 10 minutes and were in the old harbour. Secure parking. Breakfast was lovely too, French bread, cheese,ham and Jam. Fresh coffee and orange juice.  We highly recommend Villa Ariane and cant wait to return.

Holiday in France

A small sunny weekend in Honfleur marked by a very pleasant night at the Villa Ariane. Ideally located on the outskirts of the city, we loved its former charm! Beautiful 19th century building currently under renovation, all the interior has been tastefully remodeled while keeping the seal of the house. Very comfortable bed, well furnished and warm room, modern and clean bathroom, full breakfast (sweet, salty, great choice of teas). The owner is very supportive and gave us good advice for our visit.

Charming and adorable

Outside the gates to the property was already not what we expected and once through  it looked to us like a building site. Windows boarded up and scaffolding with some rubble. My husband looked at the room  but said it was not suitable.   We think it should be made clear that they are doing renovation.  The lady who greeted us was very friendly and helpful.

Very disappointing

Very nice room in a very nice house, currently apparently in the process of major restoration work (information not communicated at the reservation). A bad spot for neglected handling, clogged toilets, hair left in the laundry, the smell of moss in the bathroom. Very good breakfast and the approval of a private parking lot. Despite these few real inconveniences, I would gladly return, hoping that some of these points will be corrected. Jalil MACHICHI

A nice house typical of the area. With our friends we had 3 nice tastefully renovated rooms. The living room and dining room are warm. The breakfast is generous. The hosts are friendly and good advice. The house is old, so yes the terraces are cracking but that's also part of its charm.

Typical accommodation

A little disappointing no one was around  to meet us on arrival.  The Guest House is still under renovation and the room we stayed in needed work.  The guest house has a lovely living room but unfortunately this was locked so you had nowhere to relax other than your bedroom.  Breakfast was very limited but ok.  Has the potential to be a beautiful place in time.
