Anytime again... Nicole is a great host and keeps her apartments (ours was nbr 8), nice and clean!
Anytime you need help or support she will help you.
Big Bonus is the close distance to the beach.

Summer of 2019 - Apartment 8

If you are looking for a great beach holiday, then Au Grand Sud is the perfect place. The air-conditioned, self - contained apartments are clean, practical, each with its own terrace and parasol and are located right by the sea. The complex is enclosed with gardens, a BBQ area, and a car park. Nicole, the manageress, is extremely kind and helpful. Facilities also include a table tennis table, a boules court, free wifi, a washing machine and a storage area for surfboards and other water sports equipment. We have  returned every summer for five years and have taken advantage  of the outstanding nearby restaurants and colorful markets. We will definitely be returning next summer, for another relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Amazing place for a beach holiday!

We have stayed in apartment number 15 two years in a row now. This year they had done some renovations in the bathroom and kitchen, so it was superfresh! Au Grand Sud is located right on the beautiful beach, perfect for families with children. There is a small lunchrestaurant next door, and some small stores for fresh bread, fruits etc. You also have walking distance to the little village  La Capte, and some other really good restaurants along the beach. 

In the apartments you have everything you need such as linens, towels, kitchen supplies and air condition. Each apartment also have a private terass with outdoor furniture. In the garden there is a barbeque area, sunbeds, a pingpong table and a boulecourt. 

It's also close to the harbour where you can take boats to the islands of Porquerolles, or go in to the old city of Hyéres by car or bus.

We had a perfect relaxing vacation and would recommend everyone to stay here!

Great location, just on the beach

The apartment and the outside facilities are worn-down and dirty. The beds are horrible. The bathroom smells. Outside there´s not enough space for visitors to sit down. The parking lot is too small. The service is non-existing.

Unhygienic and Worn-down

Excellent staff: They had decide all our problems. Staff speak English.
Excellent location: right on the beach. 
Here the sea is different every day and it is a beautiful.
Local specialties: delicious Provençal tomatoes.
In the courtyard there is a place for grilling.
Warning: there is mosquitoes in this village!

We are just returning from a week holiday in the residence au grand sud. We had a really good stay. Despite what other reviews might say our apartment (No 15) was clean and in good conditions. No mould, no insects or any of these sorts. Places might appear small to some people but if you have know the south coast, these are called cabanon and therefore are not unsual to find. In all honesty you spent most of your time outside anyway and use the place to sleep only. The residence is a literrally a step away from the beach, which is more than convenient and you only need your beach towel, sun glasses and paper. The residence might required updating but who cares, i am here for the beach and the surroundings. Talking to the lady in charge it is going to happen in the coming months. Overall we had a really relaxing stay and will definitly go back.
