Lovely garden, where breakfast is served (a tray with plain but plentiful French breakfast - ask for the orange jam). Very kind staff - I mean VERY. 5-8 min walking to old center of a very charming town, which seems quite undisturbed by the neaby touristic coast.
We would have loved air conditioning - but it is ok with ceiling fan in a 2 star hotel.

A very pleasant oasis

I was in hospital i here's suffering from pneumonia and when released my insurance company suggested a week of rest,so we booked into les oranger.the owner could not have been more helpful and we found the lovely shaded garden an ideal place to sitand readin the heat of the day.a large fridge is provide for guests,so we often had a snack lunch at the shaded tables.the room was simple ,but the bed was comfotable and the room was clean and tidy.breakfast was very good and smile of the owner made avery welcome start,as did his excellent home made marmalade which was made from orange trees in the garden. The hotel is well situated as it is only a short walk into the old town of here's with many fine places to eat.finally when we were leaving the owner was so helpful in dealing with Ryan air s booking system that we felt nothing was too much trouble. For the owners to make the guests have a pleasant stay 

Recovery time

Our room was clean and the owners were very pleasant when we arrived. It was only a short walk into the town centre, maybe five minutes, and we parked our hire car on the street nearby. Good for a cheap place to stay.

Good for cheap stay

We stayed 3 nights at Les Orangers it’s location is great for visiting Hyères. 
The hotel is spotless if dated and the owners very accommodating, kindly supplying us with glasses for our pre dinner aperitif and plates napkins and knives for a picnic in the breakfast room on a day of torrential rain! The guests fridge and facility to buy water at the hotel are big pluses.The 7€ breakfast is good value if basic. 

Good location and value for money 

Stayed here for a few nights and enjoyed the experience but its cheap and cheerful nothing more, the room was sweet but often noisy as it overlooks a courtyard but the breakfast and garden is fine with wonderful scents from the plants. The hosts are very open and kind and its an ideal base to explore the city and region. Its great value and they are always keen to help with bus or island information.
