With a cycling group of 6 cyclists, we stayed at the hotel from July 5 to July 11, 2020.
Pros:
- extremely friendly welcome on arrival and during the entire week;
- rooms and sanitary very well maintained;
- food: excellent and more than sufficient (important for cyclists); the chef of the restaurant always pleasantly surprised us.
- perfect base to explore the many different cols in the area;
- you can always contact the hotel managers for questions regarding road conditions and weather reports; they gave us excellent advice;
- the price for the half-board stay was certainly not too expensive compared to the offer - on the contrary;
- the final statement of the accompanying drinks was correct.
Negatives: none.
Conclusion: a hotel that you should definitely visit if you are in the area.

The hotel is reasonably well located on the edge of Jausiers and is split with accommodation on both sides of a reasonably busy road. The fact that there is also a small petrol station at the front of the hotel makes sitting outside less pleasant than it might otherwise be, but there are some seats to the side of the hotel which are quieter.

The restaurant serves basic country cooking, good portions, but not great quality.

I stayed in the annex across the road in a part that has 2 bedrooms that share a small common sitting area and a bathroom. The decor was a little odd, but the bed was comfortable.

Basic hotel convenient for cycling

Compare the hotel to the price and we got what we paid for, reasonable sized and basic furniture room, with a decent view. No complaints during our one night. There is ample parking at this hotel.
The bar was used by locals and we sat outside to watch the sun go down. Restaurant served decent food and the cheese board had a wide selection.
Good for an overnight stay.

Well Priced Basic Room Hotel

There are a wide variety of rooms in this hotel and some are not in the main building. The Hotel is clean and the beer is good.  Iti s also a fuel station where you actually get your fuel served (not applicable if you're on a bicycle)

Breakfast was excellent - self service and eggs cooked to order.  I also had dinner which was also very good and plentiful with extra salad and chips when requested (FOC)

The Madame is a little fearsome and humourless and runs a very tight ship.  Not necessarily a bad thing.

Bicycles were stored in a locked garage.

Perfect stop over for cycling up Col de La Bonette

Spent two nights here on a recent cycling holiday. The room was small, cramped, dark and very hot. We were put in a room with a double and bunkbeds which left little room to move. The shutters needed to be closed all day to deter the baking sun, but the room still reached uncomfortable levels. The decor was very 70's, being very dark and there was a lack of lighting so the whole ambience was rather gloomy. There was no aircon and our trusty fan struggled thoughout the night, despite the window being open. What we needed was to be able to stand under a cold shower, but the hanger was broken so we had to hold the shower head. The toilet was very noisy when flushed as I guess the solids were chopped up before passing into the sewerage system (unconfirmed).

Didn't have breakfast but instead visited the boulangerie in town and was very happy. On the second evening we had an excellent omelette and salad and a couple of beers in the bar.

There was no English spoken but I got the impression the owner had it but chose not to use it.

There was a small secure room in which we stored our tandem.

There isn't a great deal of accommodation in Jausiers and this is about the cheapest. I would probably choose to stay in a different village than to stay in this hotel again, which is a shame because there's some good cycling in the area.
