We stayed for four nights recently. Rooms simple but very clean, comfy beds, lovely view over the vineyards from our terrace. Fabulous large pool to dive into at the end of a hot day- crystal clear. Run by the sweetest couple who do their best to make your stay happy.

A lovely friendly hotel in the Luberon

After a great, but touristy  experience in Roussillon, we arrived at this hotel: beautiful surroundings, calm, excellent pool. The rooms were decent, more than adequate, and quiet. The staff was very welcoming. It was a great end-of-day experience. 10 minutes from Roussillon, but a world away.

Exactly what we wanted 

We were made very welcome on arrival and got a better room than we had ordered.  A misunderstanding about the price was efficiently and satisfactorily  resolved. The room was very good,  large and airy. Beds were good.  The balcony y outside our room was partly enclosed which made it ideal during the heat wave.  Unfortunately the aircondition wasn't working very well during the last days of our stay.  Bathroom and shower excellent. The water however was not very hot.  It was ideal for showering but useless for shaving.  In fairness it must be mentioned that we did not complain during our stay.  Room and other areas were immaculately clean. 
Breakfast was good.  They offer dinner of which we partook once.  It was reasonably priced and not bad. Other(french)  diners seemed delighted with it however. 
The pool was large with both sunny and shaded areas.  The hotel offers private enclosed parking which is very good.

Nice hotel, excellent pool

The hotel is a walking distance from a tiny town called Joucas. There isnt much to do in Joucas, but there are plenty little towns around, that have tons of character. Most of them are located on hilltops. Places like the picturesque Gordes with some very good restaurants, Roussillon famous for its ochre rocks, Lacoste with Marquis de Sade's castle, Bonnieux with awesome views of the surrounding lands, etc etc. There is plenty more, just rent a car and keep driving for days. All these towns are on the hilltops surrounded by lavender fields and vineyards. Of course Avignon is a must as well. Make sure you reserve a whole day for Avignon as there is so much to see, for example the huge Papal palace.
The morning in the hotel start upstairs, where the owners (charming old couple) serve coffee, croissants, jams and yoghurts - pretty small breakfast, but good enough. 
The hotel itself has a nice swimming pool, which is useful when youre tired after a whole day of sightseeing. The hotel is very clean. It is in the countryside so its pretty quiet and peaceful. The view from the room is onto the vineyards and an olive tree field. You feel like you could sit there for a day, sip local wines and paint/read/listen to music.
And the prices (we noticed that Provence is quite expensive) were not too bad.
All in all a great stay!

Nice and quiet

I had to book a room in emergency after our rental car broke down so it was a complete lottery and made up for the disaster with the car.
The hotel is owned and run by a lovely elderly couple who will do anything yo look after you and make you feel at home. 
The views from the terrace where you have breakfast and dinner are amazing, it is the perfect place to relax
The pool is well oriented with sun all day and some shade if wanted again it is very quiet and despite all rooms being full we had the pool for yourselves during the day as the other guests were cycling or hiking
Value for money is excellent, the rooms are clean with comfortable beds, they all have a balcony facing the amazing hills in the background
