Excellent stay. The hostess is an excellent cook. Lovely rooms. Our children were treated to magic tricks by two other guests. Very special evening, gives the kids a real flavour of France. Do not hesitate to book. Very near the Seine, lovely crossing on the ferry.


Lovely B&B

Lovely bed and breakfast. Booked two rooms for the family to stay in. Clean, pretty decor. The owners were polite and welcoming and despite the children being a bit noisy. Lovely breakfast the next day with croissants, homemade crepes (went down well with the children), fruit salad, yoghurt and selection of cheeses. Would stay again.

This B&B is situated quite near to the river Seine and close enough to Rouen
The rooms are large enough , breakfast is plentyfull.
Most nights you can stay for dinner , which is excellent .
I had a fish menu, starting off with Pommereau, a smoked herring salad, cooked cod with an excellent saus, washed down with cider , finished off with a dessert , coffeeshop and calvados.

A nice B&B

We stayed 2 nights during our last trip in France at this B&B quite close to Rouen. Upon arrival we were allowed to do the checking earlier than stated in the rules, which was nice from the owner. On top of that, we had booked the room “Bigarreaux” but since the room “Griottes” was also available, we were given the option to see both rooms and decide which one to have. Based on the fact that the room “Griottes” was larger, we decided to stay in this one which is adapted for handicapped-people. 

The B&B is located just next to the road but I have to say we didn’t hear cars passing by at night. The rooms are well decorated but they are not really sound-proof and it is easy to hear the guest talking on the next door room or the owners preparing breakfast in the morning in the kitchen/dinner room which is also next door. There are no available electric plugs in the room, which means that in order to charge your phone or computer you need to unplug the lamps or the TV. In the bathroom there is only one available for the already provided hair-dryer. So if you carry along electronic appliances (such as an electronic toothbrush) you will need to unplug and plug depending on your needs. Latest, the shower had very low pressure. Having said that, the room is clean, the bed is comfortable and the WIFI internet works very well. There is parking inside the property and you can enter the room directly from the parking/garden. 

Breakfast is good and plentiful, with croissants, breads, homemade jams, butter, different types of dry meat and chesses, coffee, tea and hot chocolate (orange juice is however industrial) and owner prepared really nice crêpes in the morning.

Nice B&B close to Rouen

We found this when we were planning a visit to Jumieges Abbey. It's a really lovely place to stay - very quiet. We had a comfortable and well-equipped room, with delightful decor. Breakfast is excellent, with homemade jams etc. We had the optional evening meal (must book in advance), which used local ingredients and was interesting and excellent value.
