We booked this only a few hours before our arrival. It was advertised with free parking and check-out at 10:30 the following morning. Upon arrival we were told the only parking available was down the road in a public car park and that we had to check out at 10 in the morning. And exactly at 10:06, just as we were about to leave, there was a knock at the door ..... 
Room was clean and basic and not as noisy as I thought considering our room faced the front.
The lovely beach is just round the corner. 

Ok for one night

We are sitting in bed - it is midnight and the kareoke is VERY loud (and out of tune) directly below our room. It is vibrating with the noise, there is no hope at all of sleeping and the kareoke shows no signs of stopping. Our heads are thumping.As well as this there are people smoking non-stop under our window so we have had to shut them both (this does nothing to stop the noise). The room looks out on the main street which at the moment (yes midnight) is full of a night market which will no doubt leave very noisily too at some point tonight. Thank goodness we are only staying for 1 night, and we will not use it again. The room however is small but clean, the shower room is a cabin type, again, small but functional.Parking was extremely difficult to find.

Not a quiet night

Just visited the restaurant with family and by far the "staff" was the rudest and least customer oriented I've ever came across.
On top of that the food was terrible; we had carpaccio - which was drowned in olive oil, no possibility to taste a tiny bit of the meat. We also had a so called entrecôte- this was way over cooked. Last but not least we ordered a crepe for one of the kids, as this was the only choice for vegetarians- this was served 10 minutes before the other main dishes...
Strong advice NOT to visit this place !

Terrible food and lousy service 

Very cold welcome, when my daughter arrived (before us) and she had to pay before having the keys!! Then a smelly old fish and mussle fumey going up by the staircase. Nice little room but yogurt tiny smelly bathroom!
The best was at 7AM on sunday, the loud radio, the coffee machine and all the rest: we realized that all the noise in the hotel were heard easily!!
It was a nightmare!!

We used to have a house in La Bernerie and would often call in at the hotel for something to eat. After we sold the house we stayed there a few times and enjoyed being in the centre of this small, vibrant town.
