After the initial problem of trying to get someone to answer the door, the rest of the stay was a treat. The breakfast was superb, set up on a huge breakfast table so just sit and help yourself. Unfortunately it was too late/ cold to use the hot tub and sauna when we arrived but the setting looked lovely. Our bedroom was not on-suite but that was no issue as it was just across corridor. It was huge and beautifully kitted out. After a lovely meal we came back and had a game of pool downstairs. Would go back but for two days just to use the outside faciliites.

Beautiful house

We stayed here (with our two kids) for two nights at the end of July and it was unforgettable!  The owners are very friendly and we had the most delicious traditional French cuisine. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful and we were amazed by the attention given to even the slightest details. Everything was clean and perfectly well kept.  In short, a fabulous stay!

Fabulous stay!

An astonishing and gorgeous B&B in Murat (Cantal, France), in Haute Auvergne, land of the volcanoes (extinct!). Total Paris chic and style way out in the country, 30 mn off the A75 central north/South autoroute, half way to Provence. You must stay here. The Hosts, the rooms, the meals, the facilities, the area - all are magnificent. Comfy beds, great views. Outside in the garden is a superb Sauna and a Canadian 6 place hydrotherapie pool to die for.
We stayed two nights and would have loved to stay a week. Madame is a great cook and Monsieur a great Host!

It's just perfect ! Everything about the place is how you'd imagine a cool guest house to be ...

Beautiful rooms, perfect location, amazing breakfast, kind loving hosts....

A sauna and hot tub on the deck ,,,,,

Just go there and then never go back as I don't want it booked up when we do ......
