Hotel to recommend

Excellent reception from the owner of the place. Very large room and large bathroom overlooking the garden. No external noise nuisance. Parking is possible at the foot of the hotel and there is also free public parking less than 100 m. The only nuisance came from the lack of soundproofing between the levels.

Hotel on an island opposite La Charité

On our way we found this old hostel turned into a hotel. Located on an island in the middle of the Loire, the environment is friendly. The reception is friendly and the hotelier gave us addresses to dine and talk a little about the city. The old style room is quite large and has been renovated. It is better to ask for a garden side room a little more expensive but quiet. Side street with a lot of heavy weights in a very narrow street. The 9€ lunch is classic but enough.

Staying

We are welcomed in this hotel as we are barely anywhere else. The manager accompanies you to your room and offers to help you with your luggage. It is good advice to tell you the right restaurant that will suit your expectations. The room we had was spacious, with comfortable beds, from the floor to the floor, a bathroom with a shower that needs to be refurbished soon. The hotel owner therefore renovates his rooms when they need it. The cleanliness is impeccable. The breakfast is equipped with good products. The quality/price is impeccable. The animals are welcomed without problems. So it is easy to park at the hotel. Its situation allows you to walk around the city on a Saturday evening (Sunday night the bridge had a weekly rent). A good address

We spent one night on our bike ride on the banks of the Loire. We booked a family room for five, spotless bed, impeccable cleanliness. A little noisy in the morning with the trucks but we weren't there to make a fat morning. Breakfast is full and generously served. The nice boss welcomes you as if you were his friend for 20 years. Bicycles were safe. The garden is beautiful. In short, a place to recommend if you like the places and the real people. Positive points: bed, cleanliness, the boss building, nice, very small, nice, copy, spacious room negative: to give you the noise of the trucks for the dining rooms on the street.

A superb reception from our day host in a simple, natural, warm way. A clean, perfectly tidy private room. The small but efficient bathroom. A hotel where you feel at home. Good geographical location of the hotel. Easy access to the city centre and easy crossing of the Loire. Home by bicycle.

What to say? Laurent, our daytime host, welcomed us as he would his best friends. The hotel is very well located and the rooms are clean and spacious. I highly recommend!! The nearby banks of the Loire are beautiful. The restaurants are 200 m from the hotel as well as the city centre. Our bikes have spent the night at the shelter! Thank you Laurent

Friendliness and professionalism

The warm welcome of the boss makes you immediately comfortable. The outer frame is bucolic (hair, roses etc.. tables ey garden chairs allowing you to read or take a refreshment The room we occupied was spacious and well furnished. (a large bed with a good bedding, two night tables with headlights, a desk, two chairs and a comfortable chair and dressing room), a large bathroom with two sinks and a bathtub, toilets are independent of the bathroom.
