The apartment is located in the centre of Dieppe on the second floor of a small three-storey building, 5 minutes from the beaches of Normandy. Everything was very clean. Cathy and Alain, the owners, are very welcoming.

Very good stay in Normandy

We stayed for a week in July at the Villa Serena in La Ciotat. The villa is superb, it has all the facilities to relax and exercise. The breakfast is very good and varied. We were welcomed by the owner, Laurence, who is very friendly and who gave us valuable advice throughout the stay. On the other hand, the owner, Philippe, who was very discreet until halfway through the stay, kindly came to tell us at the lunch that we made too much noise in the evening. By talking and watching the TV as we returned from our walk on the beach, we felt that this reflex was not necessary. So the rest of our stay, we could not go to the evening and whispered to the owner, so that we could not disturb the environment. When we were home, we could not disturb the owner, and the owner of the dog, who is not a big discomfort, so that we could not disturb the environment. When we were home, we could not be disturbed by the presence of the owner, and the owner of the dog, who is a big discomfort.

Good stay, but only the owner.

It was quite a budget for us to stay here, but as soon as we arrived I knew that we would not regret it, and this proved itself well throughout the stay. The suite is very comfortable, air-conditioned, with plenty of space. And what about the outside! A huge and beautiful garden with a lot of facilities and including an extremely pleasant pool area, where there is always a part in the sun and a part in the shade. Moreover, the fact that there are only two suites ensures peace and tranquility, and the guests are very welcoming, always full of attention and good advice to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

What a joy!

The place was perfect. The house, the swimming pool and the location as well. 
The problem was the owners. There was no privacy in the appartment. We arrived at midnight and stayed in the apartment for dinner and talking until 2:30 am, when the owner entered in our living room without previous notice. He politely asked us to stop making noise.  There were no music nor any other noise than 3 girls of 30 years old talking.Nothing to do with a crazy party. The day after, the owner entered again in our rooms. We dont know the reason why but not for cleaning. Breakfast was shabby (a slice and a half of jam &cheese to share between three).

Owners

Lack of privacy since the owners entered at least three times in the apartment while we were there. 
Breakfast is a bit shabby: 1 slice of cheese and 1 1/2 slice of jam and to share between three people (one day it had mold). So much bread but not so many things to eat it with.
Bathroom: No shampoo & gel. 
We didnt feel welcome and comfortable. Owners were always around keeping an eye on everything. Didnt feel like a hotel. Missing privacy.

The swimming pool and the house itself was perfect. The house has everything you need to relax and have a nice stay.
Location: Close to beach (10 min walking) & 40min to old town.

Wouldn't come back

We have just spent five wonderful days at the Serena Villa de La Ciotat. The apartment is very comfortable, located on the ground floor of a luxurious property with a swimming pool, tennis court, a pub where you can cook.

Just one word: exceptional!

A delicious time this week in August at Laurence and Philippe's, two small-minded hosts to make your vacation a success. Large garden suites. Swimming pool, summer kitchen. Perfect lunch. Gym, tennis court. In short, nothing is missing in this little pearl 700 metres from the sandy beach.
