This is a great hostel; very good dinner and breakfast; impeccable room. It is located close to the international karting circuit (10 min).

That's great.

We did not spend much time at the inn, barely arrived to drop off our belongings, left for a baptism, returned late at night, and left early the next morning. Yet we had a very warm welcome, a room overlooking a small castle, very pleasant. The decor is a little old, but that is what makes this inn charming. As big eaters, we were a little disappointed by breakfast where the buffet had little choice, but we were able to taste the caterer's talents at the baptism (happy coincidence).

Short but friendly.

After a superb phone approach we had booked several rooms, usually all included and a big surprise when the PDJ settlement and the stay fee plus.

It's too bad.

On the advice of friends, for a short stay at a blues concert in the area, a warm hostel, we are welcomed, the rooms are comfortable, and the table is excellent and copious according to our friends (we will stay to eat next time).

Excellent regional stop

Not too far from the motorway junction can be found the Auberge a la Tete de Lard. It's just along the road from the impressive looking Chateau of la Ferte Imbault.
Rooms are clean and comfortable and ideal for an overnight stop on your way up to the Channel. The bathroom in our room was a little dated decor wise, but with lashings of hot water, a bath and a shower that can be overlooked. Breakfast is provided in the cost of the room which was reasonable, considering many places in France are charging upwards of 10 euros in addition to the cost of your room. What struck us most was the peace and quiet of the place even though our room overlooked the road at the front. The highlight of this place however is the restaurant which I have reviewed separately.

Peaceful

We arrived on a day when the hotel was closed and therefore had a code to access our room and a key to access the garage. In cheaper establishments this would not have been a problem but I feel that with a room plus breakfast charge of 96 euros, some sort of reception should have been arranged, together with easier access between the car and hotel for carting our luggage. The room was small but adequate,bed linen good and clean, towels clean but a bit tired. We had a small en suite shower room, plenty of hot water. There was a mini bar with just one glass but no kettle or cups, it would have been nice to have been able to make a hot drink after a long drive as the hotel was not open. Breakfast was fine, the hotel is dog friendly at no extra charge. All in all, I felt it was a little overpriced for what we received.

Average

The reception is warm and professional but above all what is offered on the menu is made with local products! It is rare enough to be highlighted so the meal is part of the trip and the discovery of Sologne.

A real meal at the restaurant

This little gem in a very quiet village. Enjoyed our overnight sojourn. We dined in the hotel and enjoyed a delicious meal. Perfect place for an overnight stay. The room was very clean although rather small. But overall a good value for money. 

Blessed isolation 

I recommend it very much. Good quality price. There is also a secure parking lot.

well to spend the night and to eat dinner

Although the restaurant is decorated with rustic decorations, the reception is warm, the cuisine is excellent (I recommend the pencil mousseline!). The rooms are renovated, the beds are very comfortable and clean. The calm of the village and the view of the castle are even more appreciated. We will keep this address in mind on the way to our holidays as we will gladly return there.
