We were visiting our daughter  in Plouer Sur Rance and booked a 2 night B&B  stay for €125. The hotel was situated on a hill above the Rance with beautiful views towards the river. We had a very large downstairs ensuite bedroom with access to a lovely garden. We were offered drinks on our arrival in the garden and both mornings we had a good breakfast. The service was very good and we enjoyed our stay.

Room with a view!

Had a very pleasant stay is this lovely peaceful hotel.  The view from the rear of the property overlooks the estuary and really is breathtaking. My room was spacious, light, clean and airy with a typically french feel. It was lovely to wake up to such an outstanding view. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Dinan, St Malo, and the coast are all within easy reach. Would also recommend walking or cycling from the hotel to Dinan along the river, walking took about one and a half hours.

Beautiful location

We stayed 5 nights in the property, the veiws are exceptional. The staff and owner  were both friendly and helpful, offering wecome advice about places to visit and answering any quieries we had. The breakfast was lovely and the room large and spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The view has to be seen.

fantastic views

Friendly welcome by the proprietor and good breakfast.  However, he seemed somewhat understaffed and "forgot" to clean our room or at least change our towels on the second day. Was happy to help and recommended 2 restaurants nearby which were good. An interesting building which is a bit "tired". Cotton sheets - lovely.

B & B within easy reach of Dinan and  good view of the river Rance

This is an interesting building overlooking the estuary. the bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast good. it is a good touring base and useful  local information was provided. easy access to dinan breakfast was good. bathroom a bit small, but otherwise fine.

We really enjoyed our stay at this chambre d’hote. The best thing was the view from our bedroom window – a panorama over the Rance estuary with a spectacular and mystic sunrise as the sunshine tried to poke through the mist swirling in the valley below. The house is an old manor style house which has been tastefully converted to a B&B, although some of the décor in our view was a bit past its sell by date, but apart from that everything was very clean. The owner was very helpful – she went out of her way to find a pharmacy which was open at the weekend – not easy in this part of France when you go down with a migraine.

Breakfast was very nice – croissants as you would expect, but also a healthy and inviting fruit bowl and a selection of English breakfast cereals.

The only slight problem was a short power cut in the evening, but that was soon over. So overall, it was a nice place to stay – central location for Saint Malo, Dinard, Mont St Michel etc., comfortable surroundings, spectacular setting and very accommodating owner.
