Lydia and Jacob greet you with a smile in their charming and quiet home, with the possibility of a motorbike ride, the owners freeing up the garage for the night, a very good table and a map of excellent wines, and we will be happy to return.

Exceptional not to miss.

In the area of snails, it is good to stop and take time to live. The house is well maintained and the guests are taking care of their customers. The setting, the quiet and the quality of services have made our motorcycle weekend (which has had a closed garage) a treat of well-being.

Weekend bikers

We were greeted by a kind couple (French and Belgian, if I understand correctly). Madam invited us to visit their small estate and the garden that is hidden behind the house: a small but charming old-fashioned garden, with many beautiful flowers. We see that the Domaine is lovingly maintained! There is also a swimming pool that we have not used, due to lack of weather...In the evening, a very good dinner with snails, a supreme turkey sauce and vegetables, and a delicious cowboy to finish... The bunk, of perfect quality, gives us a peaceful and restorative sleep: it is the first important thing in the room, because without a good sleep, no rest and a bad backrest. After this, we will have a good breakfast, we have a very good breakfast in our house, a very nice chef, and we will understand that your home is a very nice, very nice garden, and that is a very nice place to enjoy it!

Let me say in the preamble, ma'am, that it is not worth answering this comment, as you answered several comments posted elsewhere. Your aggressiveness would only aggravate your case. The trouble started when we visited the room last Saturday. Having not seen a separation between the toilet/bathroom and the room, we asked if there was no door. You replied that since we slept in the same bed at night, we didn't need it. First of all, it wasn't because we were sleeping in the same room, my wife and I, that I really wanted to make her feel comfortable while we were in the same room.

Brutal reception

Everything is thought and done by Lieke and Philippe to make you spend an unforgettable time here where kindness and usefulness prevail. The rooms are large, very comfortable, well decorated. Beautiful gardens, very nice swimming pool, absolute calm. A must: reserve your dinner. The exceptional table, which has nothing to envy in the best restaurants, is a must-have.

An Unforgettable Stay

Sometimes you strike lucky! We picked this hotel from the internet with little knowledge of the area. One of the finest and happiest holidays that we have had. The weather was very hot but the hotel provided a cool and beautiful garden and a lovely cool room. It was hard to leave and visit the local sites! The biggest surprise was the wonderful evening meal. French cooking at its best prepared lovingly by Phillipe. We sat outside with other guests sharing our knowledge of Dutch French and English. The aperitif was a welcome start to some lovely evenings.

A long weekend of rest in a very pleasant gite

We felt very welcome in their house and enjoyed the wonderful food prepared with Philippe's culinary surprises and Lieke's lovingly decorated guest rooms, which left no wishes open. They both supported us with advice in our endeavors and gave us valuable tips.

Savoir-vivre in Burgundy

The domain is located in an idyllic landscape, away from all the hustle and bustle. The hosts welcome and treat their guests like friends. The dinner prepared by the boss himself is a delight. Thank you very much.

A Place of Quietness and French Cuisine

We were enchanted by the place and the sympathy of our guests. The lunch conquered the whole family with delicious dishes... a chef's kitchen that put his whole heart and his know-how into it. Mr. Rousselle likes to enjoy being guested. So we decided to take a room to rest. The room is impeccable, large, spacious, pleasant. We did not fail to congratulate Mrs. Rousselle who manages these rooms with care and taste. A very quiet, small resting place where you feel good.
