Sait Louis holiday village provided a great base for myself and my family for our holiday in the Cote D’Azur in Aug/Sept 23.

Whilst the Camp is quite small, we found the staff to be pleasant, and the facilities well kept, we particularly enjoyed the Pool! There is a small restaurant and bar area, serving Pizza, Burgers etc and some very nice Beers! There is a small cabin which opens as a shop twice a day, but this only seemed to stock fresh bread, canned drinks and crisps. Instead we frequented two Supermarkets very close to the site. There was evening entertainment (a daily quiz in French) followed by a mini disco for kids.

We booked our holiday with Eurocamp, but the site appeared to be managed by ‘Yelloh’. We only discovered this when checking in, Eurocamp has a separate reception in a cabin a short walk away from the main Yelloh reception. Our Eurocamp rep ‘Keira’ was extremely helpful throughout our stay but had to be contacted by telephone when needed, there was no staff presence in the reception cabin. Wifi is available but for a fee.

We found our holiday cabin to be small but well equipped. We are a family of 4 but booked a 6 berth (3 bedrooms). The lounge/kitchen and terrace area were very spacious with a table inside and out. We found the bedrooms to be very small and cramped, this is the only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars! So this for us was the only let down, there were plenty of shelves, a small wardrobe in each bedroom but no drawers. We had to give the cabin a thorough clean (you are given a list!) before checking out otherwise you face a £100 fine.

My family and I enjoyed a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book a holiday with Eurocamp again.

They are not service minded.
If they have a technical problem or an over booking, you should take care of yourself. They will not help you. I would suggest to book another camping.
Tip: never book through the Yelloh! Village website. Book direct with the hotel. Making a booking through Yelloh! Village has no advantages. This is a group of independent owners. They don't help each other. Stay away!

Stay away!

Just returned after a week holiday with family and friends the accommodation was brilliant. Clean, modern and perfect for us as a family of 4. Air con worked really well, keeping the lodge cool. The childrens swimming pool was brilliant, and as the site wasn’t so busy , there was always plenty of sun loungers for everyone. The covered pool was also good, both kept tidy and clean by the vigilant pool attendant.
The communal areas were a little tired looking and could do with updating. Also, the music played by the animation staff member at the covered pool during the day contained lots of explicit language and was  completely inappropriate for a family site. The staff member changed the music when we explained this but he also argued that it was not his fault as he did not know the music was explicit. He then sulked and played only German music for the rest of the day. 
The on site restaurant is brilliant but has a small menu so after dining there 3 times we didn’t fancy returning again. The on site shop us also very small and quite overpriced but luckily there is a large supermarket 5 minute walk away. 
Easy to get the bus into Cannes from outside the site fir a lovely day trip out. Also the restaurants in pagomas are lovely and just a 20 minute walk away. We particularly liked restaurant da table d’hotes and pan d’asia. with the exception of the animation staff member, the rest of the staff at the site were really lovely, welcoming and friendly. Especially Marie, the Homair rep.

Great site but could be improved with minor adjustments

We enjoyed a lovely family holiday with our 1 year old daughter and my in-laws in one of the eurocamp lodges on site. The site was clean and compact, with most things we needed. It’s not a huge campsite (which we liked) and during the weekdays it was relatively quiet. 

The pool areas suited our needs perfectly, with a pool fantastic for toddlers and areas/slides suitable for bigger children and adults too. We could always easily find sun loungers in the sun or shade. The undercover pool had more of a relaxed, adult feel to it (although kids could use it). There is a playground with lots for younger children to do, including a bouncy castle and a trampoline. There was even a small selection of farm animals, to my daughters delight! 

There is a small shop on site which caters for very basic needs and will do croissants and bread in the mornings. The on-site restaurant is very family orientated, with entertainment going on throughout dinner time (so not ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful/romantic meal - but perfectly suited for a young family). The food was great too. 

There’s two local supermarkets and lots of local bakeries/shops in walking distance. You’d need a car or to use public transport to access Cannes or Antibes, but neither are far away. 

The eurocamp lodge itself was small but all that we needed. The aircon is only in the main room, so you have to leave bedroom doors open in order to feel the effects. The two eurocamp hosts were very helpful and friendly, but often difficult to track down!

A lovely holiday suitable for young families

First of all, I've never stayed here. However, I will soon be organising a stay for the wider family. 
I know the place as I often stop off for one of their excellent cocktails served by their excellent bar staff, who are young and friendly and phoned me up when I'd left my wallet there.....so honest too!
If you have a young family, St Louis offers affordable air-conditioned accommodation in a bucolic setting at only a few kilometers from the sea. With, bar, restaurant, entertainment, pools, parking  and play areas, it could be a solution to holidaying on the Riviera without wallet fatigue.

A Great Friendly Place

We came here for the last 2 weeks before the park closed for the year so it was very uncrowded, the kids had the whole water park to themselves most of the time.
You really get the feeling this is a family owned park which is nice, our French isn’t very good which let us down a bit because most of the staff and other guests didn’t really speak English but we all had fun trying to figure out what we all were saying.
The small restaurant area was good value and the food was good.
Our cabin REALLY lacked a t.v for the kids at night,  when we asked our eurocamp rep about this she said it’s all in French anyway, we couldn’t sit outside on the decking due to the mosquitos (my daughter was badly bitten the first night)
This park is not near Cannes! You need a car here.
We would return again as we had a great time

Good

Are you looking for place to spend your holiday and like camping? I recommend Saint Louis. Area has been upgraded with new and good quality cabins with all you need. Pool area is very nice where both kids and parents will stay. The staff is friendly and helpfull and has always a smile... Located just 25minutes from Cannes by car, the location is practical as you normally will see the area in Côte de Azur .

Flo and Madeline not only arranged it but when you joined us it was a lot of fun  everything was well organized and aquagym was very funny and Nice you are tuned and very nice and cool you are the best

Awesome vacation

Madeline and Flo you are the best. The animation was good organised. You should really come to this camping because Madeline is the best in aquagym and Flo is good in organising the activities. Flo and Madeline good job guys.

Super Good Animation

This village has lots of very nice attributes, but lots of areas for improvement. Top pool, top cabins, gorgeous scenery, easy to get to Cannes/Grasse by bus/car. But... Nobody speaks English, thank goodness we spoke French but felt very excluded, unwelcome in fact even though we paid a lot of money to be there, thankfully we are a happy family and adored to just be together, but they are not as welcoming as the 4 star places we are used to, they could do with a training course in that. We really missed that welcome, not one person welcomed us and really we could have walked off the street, so no safety aspect here, the barrier was a chain and a light for it was only put up last week, we used torches and we monitored our children very carefully, they missed out on the freedom of other Yelloh sites. I still could not say who was running the place, the young staff had very little knowledge, we relied heavily on Google. There were no animations that we could see for our children we met one lovely Dutch girl but on our second to last day, by which time our children felt really left out, it's a pity she hadn't been there earlier, her colleagues were too interested in how they looked to each other than entertaining children which they are paid for. This really drags the Yelloh name down and honestly would put me off the company, perhaps next year this site would be worthy of the Yelloh name but not now, not at all, and certainly not deserving of 4 stars. The pool is without close toilets, the toilet facilities nearest are the public block (very far to small children). Regarding any entertainment, one had to be psychic to find out anything, no point of contact, not rallying everyone around. In the restaurant on site, the food, while expensive and without much french authenticity or variety(burgers, chips, nuggets, more American no?), is cooked by an amazing chef, the beef is top, pizza also great, and delivered by a wonderful man so much nicer than his wife, a really rude and pass remarkable waitress who treated us ( and many of our Dutch co-campers too) more as a nuisance than paying customers and with little choice, we paid a lot it's very expensive for drinks and food, she could have been so much nicer, we even spoke French to her. Beautiful food but no variety in services, not at all as advertised, the bakery (a bookstand) far better and cheaper across the road in the Intermarchè, so too is take-out pizza and the staff in the small take-out at the supermarket were fabulous. There was no lake we could find, no excursions. However, the pool is absolutely terrific, it could benefit from better lifeguards, there at all times and actually watching the children, but we watched our children closely since we noticed the lack of supervision quickly. The lifeguards do not speak English, a child got into difficulty and could not understand their instructions, disaster but for the parents. The cabins are very clean, spacious, very well equipped, we had toilet roll, cleaning products and tools, television, A/C, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. We found the cabins, which have laminate flooring throughout and good quality wipeable MDF doors and shelves quiet from #95 to #79 (on an incline) or #150+ (on a steep hill but with car very pleasant) but very crowded no privacy in all other numbers in the 30's very crowded. Pitches for caravans or tents are tiny, no real space, very crowded no privacy, ground very uneven, ants very prevalent. Pitches are right on the toilet block (smell uncomfortable in the heat) which only opened fully last week with lights, toilet rolls, etc; Maintenance seems to be happening daily and while there last week, we could see improvements, but there are lots more to do and it is not all just lights and toilet rolls. The restaurant/bar/entertainment area lacked atmosphere, the party nights were awful, funerals more exciting, but there is nowhere good to eat within walking distance. Cannes and Grasse are 20 minutes away on a local bus €1.50 per person (under 4 free) but a limited schedule. Pegomas is 25 minutes walk for adults (not children), but food is only available after 7.30pm for sit down or a beautiful Patisserie for a French treat is open earlier in the day. There is an ATM here and a bigger supermarket.
