Booked this lovely gite  as a base to explore the area... wow , just stunning , everything you need , very clean great use of space , lovely friendly owners . 
Cute little outside space for a cuppa or a bbq 
Couldn’t fault it at all. 
Use of the table tennis and snooker under the main house which was a bonus.
Beautiful part of France , quiet but close enough to the A20 to get about .

I stayed here for 5 nights, as part of a group of six. We were there for the off road motorcycling. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived, the cold beers offered were very welcome after a long journey. We ate at RideLimousin every night, the food was superb, every night at least 2 of the 4 courses merited a big WOW. The vegetarian options were just as good, not just something added on. Breakfast was also excellent, from a full English, or something lighter if required, nothing was too much trouble. Our group had the "Clubroom", the whole top floor, sleeping up too 9 in very comfortable beds. There was also a comfortable sitting room to the side, with tea/coffee making facilities, TV with UK programmes,and a fridge for "bring your own" beer etc. On the landing below there is an "honesty" bar, a fridge with beer, soft drinks, chocolate bars etc, also crisps, nuts, snacks etc, help yourself, write what you have had in the book, pay at the end. Showers were very clean, water lovely and hot. Our bikes were secured in a large barn at the front of the property. We did the self guided Trail Riding option, hiring a Sat Nav from Torsten for the 4 days riding. I was voted "leader", and can report that, after sorting out what glasses etc to wear, and a few U turns while getting used to the set up, the kit worked very well, Torsten has obviously spent a lot of time researching the routes, and there is something for everybody. The riding itself was incredible, we covered about 400 miles in our 4 days, in this time we encountered 2 ladies walking, and a man on a horse, all 3 of which were very friendly and waved and smiled as we passed. (as did the horse!)  There was a good mix of trails, some easy, some not so easy, I'm sure Torsten has routes for all abilities, but he also does guided runs, so that is another option.   All in all a fantastic few days, in a fabulous, friendly home from home, it didnt feel like being in a Hotel at all, so a big Thanks to Torsten and Rowena for that. Everybody in our group said that they would love to return, you cant say better than that.

Magnifique!

Spent five nights at this excellent location, we stayed up in the dorm room on the top floor of this beautiful spacious house, comfortable,clean beds hot showers & quiet slept like a puppy. Torsten & Rowena are wonderful hosts welcoming & relaxed make you feel at home as soon as you arrive.Rowena,s cooking is superb evening meals are an occasion & nothing is too much trouble.
The trail riding in this area is amazing vast areas of varied terrain theres dry & dusty,muddy,rocky, technical forest, & best of all no people heaven!..will be back

Superb!

Six of us stopped for 5 nights and rode our trail motorcycles on the many legal routes in the area. The hosts are first class, very accommodating and knowledgeable. The club room was comfortable, the showers hot and the lounge equipped with comfy seating, a fridge and a TV. Rowena is a very good cook and the food is excellent - very well worth booking dinner - every night, (especially if it's a rice night).

If you are not being guided by Torsten then hire his sat nav system. It contains a large variety of routes which are straightforward to follow and were all rideable by this very average rider. It's obvious that Torsten has put a lot of work into route finding. In 4 days our group covered over 400 miles with a high trail content - shorter routes are available.

An excellent base for a trail riding holiday.

Another great stay  6 of us only stayed two nights before moving on but boy was it worth it .We had arranged a days off-roading with Torsten which was a new thing to all of us it was a good day out and a good introduction to off-roading we all fell off at least once some of us with more style than others
Rowena's food was as good as I remembered and very tasty
We will be back I'm sure
