Lovely small friendly campsite, clean, tidy, fantastic staff. Lovely swimming pool. Children made friends and enjoyed basketball, ping pong, football etc. Food from snack bar good. Supermarket just down the road. Entertainment for young and old should you wish to participate. Three bed Caravan the best we've stayed in. Plenty to see and visit in the surrounding area.

Nice site, clean, tidy and friendly

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Clos Cottet quite a lot.  We arrived for the last week of May and the campsite was very quiet which was lovely!  Our daughter had a lot of fun running around and playing on the green spaces, the slides etc.  The campsite is clos to a supermarket which is handy and also close to La Tranche sur Mer, a few minutes by car.  

The mobile home was fine.  We had everything we needed really.  There were just a few negatives that we could mention:  when we arrived there was bad smell from one of the bathrooms which seemed to be the drains rather than the toilet.  This smell got a bit better as the week went on but was still lingering a bit.  Another point was the difficulty of getting the shower temperature right.  We have stayed in other campsites which caused no problems with this so it's strange.  The temperature would change from boiling hot to cold which made showering a small child difficult.

The final negative point was that the security barrier was malfunctioning one of the days and came down on the boot of our car.  The office was closed at the time.  Someone from the campsite came around without telling us and looked at the car late at night when we were going to bed.  When I told staff about the barrier they didn't even apologise but just said "oh yeah the barrier wasn't working that day!".  It's a shame because a simple apology would have gone a long way.

Nice place, clean and organised.

A nice site with good facilities. Clean and tidy, well maintained. The site has a good sized swimming pool, a bar and food area. Pitch size is good and site is well laid out. We only stayed one night so just a flying visit.

Nice site

Booked this site after we had a great holiday with the flowers group last year spent extra and went 4star this time and have no idea what we paid extra for . Site was full of older families with teenage children running around late night disco's and then the inevitable late night fall out, even reception  said they hated this period (helpful) . Our young kids were scared to use the pool as teenagers through each other in . Crazy golf broken and wires hanging out ,cracked tiles around pool and basically shabby around . Used the bus to the beach once and we were first to the bus stop and when the bus arrived a group pushed straight onto the bus and then we were told there was not enough space as the sites allocated spaces on the coach were used up and the driver was not at all helpful . Would not recommend
