We absolutely loved this hostel and wish we could've stayed longer! 
We had a double room, la Maison booked. It had a private patio and it's only bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, as well as a wardrobe and air con. We could fit all our luggage in our room. It was very comfortable and spotless. 
The surroundings were fab and so relaxing. We loved the pinged areas and the kitchen. It was like we were transported to another place, very quiet and zen. 
You can get yoga mats for free for own use. You can also hire surf boards there. 
Location was fab, just one block in from the beach, about 5 mins walking. 
I'd recommend parking at Page Nord car park as it's only €3 for 24 hours (10-15 min walk), whereas the car park on the street outside is €2 per hour! 
Staff were so friendly and helpful, even offering to help sort our parking for us! 
We cannot rate this hostel any higher.

Quirky hostel by the beach

It was a nice and bright room in a beautiful home, everything was well organized and beach, restaurants, cafe's anything at walking distance. Would definitly recommend and book again if in the neighbourhood!

Amazing stay

Around 500 miles into a cycling trip, we encountered a horrific storm and were seeking shelter for the night that didn't involve pitching a tent. We came across Villa Zenith in our wet, desperate search. Just hoping for a cheap bed for the night, we were pleasantly surprised by the decoration and homeliness of this wonderful place.

Hosts were wonderfully accommodating to three soaked cyclist and bikes, prices were reasonable, and everything was well thought out. 

Would love to visit this place again in future and would absolutely recommend a stay.

Absolutely Brilliant

We went to Lacanau by bike from Bordeaux and had planned to spend the night there to rest and enjoy an evening near the sea. The booking was easy and efficient. We had a very warm welcome by the staff,that helped us to secure our bikes and showed us around. The place is beautiful and extremely clean!we had a lovely,colorful double room, and had the chance to speak with the other friendly guests of the house. The place is minutes walk from beaches,restaurants,bars,so the location is perfect.We had a very comfortable sleep and we surely will book there again if we will decide to go to Lacanau. I highly recommend it!

Home in Lacanau

I spent 3 nights 4 Days in Lacanau at the end of travelling 2 months throughout France,Spain and Genevva. Its a great beach destination,location is 60km west of Bordeaux.
The property has a nice retro feel about it, the property is well maintained, clean with confortable dorm style accomodation either 2, 4 or six people in a dorm. 
It is well located from the beach ,transport shopping and most activities recomend the bike ride 6km to the lake many trails.
The mix of clientelle was fantastic with a good mix of French, German, Dutch ,Swiss Austrian Belge  travellers /vacationers.
 Meals take on benches  in a nice garden with cooking and Bbq area available.
The management are excellent Catherine and Celine really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. 
The area has a myrid of great activities available including surfing, biking (great trails )and paddleboarding, kiting ,sailing and windsurfing available on the lake.
  One word of warning Bike shop took a deposit for a bike 230€ i returned the bike they charged my master card The Zenith are very helpful in chasing the bike shop as my english is not wonderful but this says alot for the hostel as nothing was ever a problem for them. (always keep all important receipts). Signing off am in  Bordeaux and head back to Australia after an amazing trip.
