A very pleasant place.

The campsite is very well located next to the lake and close to the restaurants. This place is quite wild and pleasant with its atypical accommodations and the rabbits in the open. On the other hand, the reception is not really nice. The managers of the establishment are frankly not friendly and it is difficult to get a smile or even just a hello. All the cabins are glued to each other, so it is difficult to sleep if the neighbors decided to just chat with each other. Also, the cleanliness is lacking. Finally, even if the sanitariums are clean enough to see what is going on, it would not be too much to think about removing the hundreds of d'araigned places that come on you every day without understanding the number of people arriving on the campsite, the cabins, the plants and the luxury car, but it is recommended that you do this without the parking space.

Not to the Expectations

We're staying overnight at the campsite, in the location section. We've been very well received. Nice feeling of a little bit of the world from their terrace. Clean sanitation. Nice stay, thank you very much to the super well placed, great team.

change of scenery

For 140€/night a wooden hut with dimensions of 2.50m x 3m in which they placed a French double bed, with a height of Max of 2m at the highest point and 1.50m in the lowest almost all occupied by the bed, an outdoor bathroom with shower but with a space, excluding shower, from 1m x 2. To change the only space was outdoor... well even just to sleep it was a nightmare.

A 140-dollar shed a night at a campsite.

The cabin in the tree is actually a cabin on a hill next to a tree, and 5 meters from the road that runs along the lake. So much so that it's all but quiet, day and night. The terrace of the house gives on the road. Perfect if you like cars. At 130€ a night, it's a flight. The cabin itself is fine... if you can't get under 170cm, otherwise, you can't shower.

Very bad experience. Dirty sanitation, noisy camping due to the immediate proximity of the huts and tents on a very busy road, day and night. Cold home. Poor housing quality: we had rented 2 huts with stretched canvas floors, we had 2 wooden huts with very poor quality mattresses (thickness 5cm, as well as sleeping on the same floor) and stained.

A bad experience

The housing is top, the situation in front of the lake is top! It could be the promised paradise. But I found that the household could be done a little more thoroughly. In the housing the dust has never been done. The toilets are too few and often dirty. Small detail: a sign says that the showers close at 10 p.m. I didn't understand the hours of the bar which is closed before 7 p.m. and after 10 p.m.

It could be so much better.

Despite there are a few lodges/tents which are too small or something   we had Lampyre and that was absolutely great! Friendly people, try to do their best in everything. Nothing to complain at all!!! The area is great... within a few minutes youre at the beach by car, its infront of the lake, you can rent bikes, kayak, supboard, swim, even woth Kids because its not deep, you can walk in the woods, nice restaurants in the area and in Lacanau ocean itself. 
If you want an own bathroom and kitchen, ask for the lodge Lampyre! 

Great!

We stayed at this campsite last May. This campsite is very well located, close to the lake. We were welcomed by a friendly team. The facilities and common areas are well maintained; the facilities are clean. We had an excellent stay unfortunately too short! We will return.

The camping is perfectly located of front of the wonderful lac where you can enjoy a whole range of water sports and it’s just a drive or ride away from the beach 🏖 We loved our stay, the staff was so welcoming and helpful, the place has a magic feel to it and it’s definitely one we would recommend!
