We spent a night here on our way down south. Our family room was very small, which meant I had to brush my teeth sideways, but this didn't bother us too much. Important for us was that it was very clean, reasonably priced and with a small courtyard parking lot. It did get a bit hot at night with the four of us packed in that small room.We found the neighboring town of Beaugency to have nice restaurants to have dinner.

Friendly owner, good nights sleep when breaking our journey.  Clean family room.  Lovely recommendation for dinner.  Having accidentally left my watch behind I am delighted to say the owner packaged it up thoroughly & sent by priority post - what a wonderful service.

Friendly low key hotel

We needed somewhere to stay close to family in Cléry St André, for 2 adults and 3 teenagers and this place was local and had appropriate rooms. We had a double and another double with an additional single bed. 

The rooms were pleasantly decorated with a sink in each room - the photos added are when we left hence the beds not being made. The beds were comfortable with good pillows and were made each day. There were wardrobes with hangers and a small dressing table and chair. It was exceptionally hot at the time we were there and the rooms were incredibly warm, which was the case everywhere when it was 37 degrees.

The washing facilities were basic but clean. Towels were provided and soap was available in the rooms.

We didn't take the option of having breakfast - at €8 per person per day (€40 a day for our party) it was steep. Instead we bought a box of croissant and pain au chocolat from the 'Intermarche’ supermarket 2 miles away for about €4 which gave much better value. 

There is parking on site.

The location is handy for exploring Beaugency, Meung Sur Loire, Chambord, Blois etc.

The proprietors were friendly-ish but spoke no English. 

Overall, clean and comfortable accommodation for the price (for us it worked out to be £12 per person per night).
